“Hey, I see an island up ahead” Nami said while looking through the telescope. “Really. How far is it Nami, can we go, how big is it, does it look cool, we need to go to the island now” an excited Luffy yelled in his seat of the head of the Thousand Sunny.
The Straw Hat crew, who were now leaving the Land of Wano as they had just defeated Kaido are now setting sail to their next destination.
“Well, it looks like it’ll take us around 20 minutes to get there.” Nami said with a calculated face.
“Hey Luffy, are you sure you want to go there, we just got out a big battel against Kaido, do you really want to go to another adventure that will eventually lead to mortal danger” Usopp, who was walking closer to the railing trying to see the island with his goggles mentions to his caption, not because he won’t follow him if he said yes, because Usopp, no matter how scared or terrifying the adventure is, he will fight and follow Luffy to the bitter end. But because he’s tired with all the things that they have been doing. Freeing and entire country isn’t exactly a walk in the park.
“Yup.” Luffy said it like it was an obvious answer.
Usopp sighs in defeat. “I should have guest”. Knowing very well that once Luffy made up his mind, there was no way to make him change his mind.
Robin, who was sitting on the lounge chair reading a book, notices how Nami looks confused or lost towards the map and the log pose on her wrist. “Nami, is everything alright?”
“Yeah, I think so. It’s just that, this island doesn’t appear anywhere on this map or on any chart that I have and none 3 of the log pose are pointing to that island it’s a bit strange” she answers Robin’s concern.
“SO, IT’S A MYSTERY ISLAND!!! Now we have to go.” Luffy yells with stars in his eyes. “JINBE how fast can we get there?!” he shouts and jumps out of the figure head and run towards Jimbe who was stirring the ship.
“Well since the winds aren’t going against us, we might just get there in less than 20 minutes” Jinbe responds to Luffy.
“Luffy are you really sure you want us to go there?” Nami asks him, having this odd feeling with how this ‘mystery island’ just doesn’t exist in any map, not even the log pose is even pointing at it.
“Yep”
“Well, I guess we don’t have much of a choice. Hey Zoro, wake up and start helping with the sails. We’re changing course.”
Zoro who was peacefully sleeping against the railing, opens his eye to look at Nami “Huh, why do I have to do it?” he says in a monotone voice with an annoyed tired face.
“Because you are literally doing nothing but taking a nap, so stop complaining and start helping with those sails!” Nami snaps back to Zoro.
“Fine you demon witch” he mumbles underneath his breath as his getting up from the floor.
“What was that”
“Nothing”

Like Jimbe promised, they arrived earlier than 20 minutes, arriving in 13 minutes. When the Straw Hats finally arrived at the island shore, they noticed that something wasn’t exactly right with the island.
It seemed that there were no signs of life, you couldn’t even see any animals or insects. The island gave of this weird aura of darkness and the atmosphere of it made it even creepier. The trees were so tall that they covered the sun, making the place look even darker and creepier.
“L-L-L-Lu-Luffy, I don’t think we are-e-e meant to be here, why don’t we turn back around and continue are way to another island one that’s less evil, and far away from here” a shaking and stuttering Usopp says with fear shown in his eyes.
“Yeah, this place is creepy!!” Chopper says while standing behind and hugging Zoro’s leg out of fear.
“Oh, come on don’t be so scared. This place looks fun; we can have an adventure! Shishishishi” Luffy replies dismissively and laughing toward his terrified friends.
“Come on Luffy, l-let’s turn around and find another island to have adventure. One that doesn’t seem so cursed” Nami, who is also afraid, tries to convince her captain.
Sanji, hearing how scared Nami sounded, was now twirling around Nami with hearts in his eyes says “Don’t worry Nami-san, I’ll protect you from any danger.” Giving a bit of comfort to Nami.
“I don’t want another island; I want this one.” Luffy whines with a (cute) pout.
The 3 scared crew mates look at him with tears running down their faces. “But Luffyyyy it’s so dark and scary?!”
Franky pipes up and says “Don’t worry guys all light it up with my SUPPER NIPPEL LIGHTS” he says while doing his iconic pose and lighting the dark forest with his nipples.
“Ugh, does it really have to be there of all places, can’t you change it to another place” Nami looks in disgust.
“You don’t have to be such a hater sister” he replies with a smug grin.
“You know, I’m with Luffy on this one. It may be a fun island, who know we might encounter an actual curse that will send us to our demise” Robin spoke up with a smile.
Usopp, somehow getting even paler than before looks at Robin with pleading eyes. “Please stop saining creepy stuff like that”
“Shishishishi, come on lets goooo”
“Now hold on a sec Luffy, and he already left” Nami said in this defeated voice as she saw Luffy slingshot himself towards the island.
“Now we really don’t have a choice but to explore the island. My heart would be pounding so hard because of fear, that was if I had a heart. Skull joke Yohohohoho” Brooks the one to break the tension within the crew with his skull jokes.
“Come on let’s go before Luffy goes to deep in the forest.” Zoro says, walking towards the island.
The crew follows Zoro to where Luffy had thrown himself to.
“Chopper are you not coming” Robin notices that Chopper isn’t moving but looking at the island like if it was going to attack him and fidgeting with his hooves.
“Uh yeah yeah, its just that…” Chopper responded to Robin but stop talking, still looking at the island.
“But what?”
After a minute Chopper continues with this scared but serios toon “This island is giving me this bad feeling, like really bad. It feels like its watching me”
“Like it’s watching you?” Robin mumbles. “It’s okay Chopper, I be here with you so you don’t have to be alone, and I’ll protect you” Robin says to see if she can reassure the scared reindeer.
But even with does words, Chopper still felt uneasy with the island.
“O-ok.” He says. Runing towards Robin looking for some comfort with her precens.
As the duo entered the forest, they didn’t notice how some fog appeared out of nowhere, making it self-thicker and thicker until it is the only thing that it can be seen.

In the forest, Luffy is jumping and swinging of trees seeing if there was any monster or huge animal to fight and later eat (after begging Sanji to cook it).
That was until he heard whisper.
“Huh”
He stops swinging, landing on a platform that was covered up with vines and other plants, he looks around to see where the whispers came from.
“Where did that came from??” Looking around he couldn’t find anything or anyone that could have talked to him. But that was when he noticed that he was completely alone without his friends and he had no idea where he was. “Hey, where am I? Where is everyone at?” Turning his head to all directions, he was completely alone. “Did they get lost. Well, I guess I’ll just need to find them”.
As he looks around, he notices that the place he landed on were actually ruins. The ruins platform had a circular shape to it. They had these pilers that had shimenawa connected to each one on inside the platform and had these weird looking stones on the outside. The weirder thing of this place was that right above them, the trees that were around them didn’t cover up the ruins but made this big circle that let the sunshine in. It almost looks like the trees were avoiding this area.
The more he looked around the ruins, he noticed that the platform he was standing on had some sort of writing in them that were covered in dust and plants. Clearing some of the ruins, he could finally see what the writing was.
“Huh, hey this is what Robin read in does poneglyphs”. Luffy making this discovery started to clear out more of the plants to see all of the writing. When he removed all of the plant and dust, he could see that the writing made a spiral in the middle of the circle all the way to the edges.
“I should look for the others so they can see this.”
Luffy walking back from where he first came from, steps on top of the middle of the spiral, just as the sun hit the midday.
Suddenly all the letters of the platform light up in a bright blue glow.
“What the. What is this!?”
A barrier appeared around Luffy. Stopping him from going outside of the platform.
All of a sudden, the light that came from the letters turned red and the voices Luffy heard earlier returned but louder. Luffy could hear them more clearer this time but didn’t understand what they were saying. They were chanting something.
“LET ME OUT OF HERE. SHOW YOUR SELFES YOU CAWORDS” Luffy yell at the voices as he punches, kicks, even used haki to try and break the barrier but it wouldn’t budge. “Why wont it you break you stupid wall!!”
The letters started to come out from the floor and spin insides of the barrier creating a wind inside.
“What the hell. What’s with this weird place. Why are the words AHHHHH!!!” Luffy shut his eye shot as he felt pain surge throw his head, like someone was splitting his head apart. He grabbed his pain field head, backing away from the barrier in little steps as the pain intensified by the second, Luffy didn’t notice that he was getting near the middle of the platform. “ARGH, my head, it hurts so much, why… why does it hurt GAH” The unbearable pain caused Luffy to fall on his knees. The chanting that Luffy completely forgot about started to get louder and louder, worsening the pain in his head.
Opening his eyes made things 10 times worse since the bright light made his head throb more. “SHUT UP. SHUT UP YOU STUPID VOICES”. Things are becoming too much for Luffy. His pained head was too much, the light was to much, the voices wear too much, everything was too much for him. His vision was becoming blurry from the pain and started to form black dots.
“Ugh I, I can’t with ugh, the pain, my head is, it feels like it’s about to explode. I-I-I” and everything went dark.
