Ace has an extra room open, with Sabo moving to attend law school and Luffy never really being in his own bed anyway Ace has a too big apartment. But it's his apartment gifted in his parents will so he doesn't want to leave. Opens an add and Marco applies, a doctor and a firefighter so they won't be prissy about shifts all hours of the day. sleepy Ace and Marco moments, soft convos over coffee, getting comfy even seeing each other half dressed
Only for there to be gathering at city hall/hospital and them going together. People assuming they're a couple and neither defusing those rumours.
They talk about it once home and that's when Marco just moves into Ace's room and they use the second one for the off chance Luffy stays over or as a guest room.Series

Summary
Luffy mentioned that Sabo was the 'nice' brother before, yeah? Well, what if we have an early ASL reunion but instead of Sabo it's now Ace who is the nice brother as he knows Luffy and has been there all along while Sabo missed 6 years of Luffy's life and needs to relearn to be a brother of a teenager instead of a child.

Summary
Modern AU where Oyaji and Roger meet in the cancer ward, seeing the looks their sons throw each other when they aren't looking and want them to be happy. Marco hasn't been on a date since Oyaji got ill as he just never was lucky and thinks Oyaji is more important right now. Ace on the other hand moved back home to help his parents bc Roger has cancer and Rouge was diagnosed with an unfortunate case of narcolepsy. Left everything, including a promising career in the firefighters to come and care for his ailing parents. Least he deserves is some love in his life. So they work on setting them up, cheering when they succeed when Marco and Ace introduce the other on a family gathering 6 months later.
