Things get better,
Things get worse,
Things stay the same,
Things change.
We all change,
We all stay the same,
We all live the same life.
We can make changes,
We can do things,
For better or for worse,
Because we're human.
We're people.
We change,
We adapt,
We survive.
Nothing seems to matter but that.
We all bleed the same,
And we all think the same thoughts,
Just in different ways.
Everyone thinks they're different,
But that's because of our perception of reality.
We only know as much as our brains can store,
Then we die.
We get better,
We get worse,
We stay the same,
We change.
But does that even matter?
What about after we die?
Do we keep our knowledge,
Or does no one have that luxury?
We're people;
But why does that seem to have limitations?
We change,
We adapt,
We survive.
So why do we have so many things that bind us?
Why is the only thing that connects everyone something that can't be changed?
Why do we change then?
Is it something different for everyone?
Or is it the exact same?
There's only one thing connecting us all,
We change,
We adapt,
We survive,
We die.
And the cycle continues.
