My alarm rang for the fifth time, I picked up my phone to check the time. *7:50* SHIT. I jumped out of bed, got changed into my uniform and sprinted to school.
On my way I saw a boy at a crosswalk, he had short blond hair and mesmerizing cyan eyes. The light turned green and while we were crossing, he tripped. I helped him get up but my cookies fell on the ground, a few fell on the street
‘Your cookies- ‘the boy said picking some up
‘Its fine, here have one’ I said offering one which wasn’t that broken
‘Thank you’ he said as he left

I got there just in time before attendance, I sat in my usual seat 2nd row in the front but **he** approached me.
‘Move.’ Tsukasa said tsukasaly putting his hand on the desk
‘Why? I’ve always sat here’
‘Amane will be sitting there’ he says as he points to the desk in front of me ‘so I will sit right here.’ Sakura nodded crossing her arms
‘Who do you think you are?’ the pink haired person who sat next to me said ‘telling people to sit somewhere else in this manner, so childish…’
Tsukasa looked insulted and walked away to nearby desk
‘Thank you...uh?’ I asked the pinked haired person, they look really cute
‘Mitsuba, nice to meet you...’
‘Nene, Nene Yashiro’
‘OOOOOO THE ONE WITH THE SUPER COOL BAKERY YASHIRO?’ Mitsuba asked, his eyes sparkling
‘Yeah, that’s mine’
‘I’ll visit it after school ‘
‘I’ll be waiting’

Amane pov:
I got out of the car the gorilla (IM KEEPING HIM IN OK.) waved me goodbye before driving off pretty slowly. As I walked to the stairs, I saw what seemed to be an upper classman dropping his bag, I ran to help him out not worrying about being late or anything
‘Thank you’ he said
‘No problem’ I said giving him the last small box that fell before running back into the school
When I got into the classroom there was one seat left, next to a boy that looked a lot like the upper classmen I helped. Not far was Tsukasa, of course and his friends Sakura and natsuhiko.
‘AMANE!!!’ he yelled jumping to hug me
‘Hi Tsukasa’ I said in a tired tone, not ready for his energy
He started talking about how he’s the king of the school and who to avoid, a name that stook out to me was nene Yashiro it sounded really pretty, he told me to avoid her like the plague (or terus cooking in canon), I wonder why
‘Children!! We have a new student’ the teacher said in a cheerful voice gesturing to Amane to stand up and introduce himself.
Amane stood up ‘my name is Yugi Amane, I’m turning 16 soon and I like astronomy’ a few girls cooed at this info, weird…he sat down with an uncomfortable expression on his face.
The kid next to him touches his arm ‘dude, are you okay?’
‘yeah..’
‘Names Kou’ Kou said as he offered a handshake and Amane shakes his hand and gives him a warm smile
Lunchtime came and Nene started giving out cookies to everyone! Tsukasa took the chance to “harmlessly” prank Nene by putting a tube of green paint on her seat
‘Tsukasa, that isn’t nice’ Amane said as he tried to pick up the paint tube but Nene came just before he managed to grab it, to her it seemed like Amane tried to cause her harm.
‘I knew it, you’re just like your brother...’ the silver haired girl said removing the paint tube herself
Amane got upset, he really wanted to befriend her.
‘don’t worry dude! I’m sure you will be able to make it up to her’ Kou reassured his desk mate
‘I’ll try...’
