Raising a child on your own is difficult. Finding out you have a child when they're past the diaper stage is helpful, but no less distressing. Being a full time working father and making sure your kid eat's his vegetables is nearly a nightmare. And giving your kid a nice normal life while running from a secret organization that's trying to recruit/kill you is just a disaster.
