Summary
Every year on October twenty-second the two of them stayed locked away from the world outside of their shared apartment. It was a promise that they had made each other as teenagers, to protect Jooheon on this date of each year, and to shelter him from any stranger he may potentially meet. This was the date scrolled across the left side of his chest, just a few inches below his collarbone in an unfamiliar hand. He cursed the permanent mark and wished to never find the person with a matching date in his own handwriting.
