   Summary

It's hard to imagine two people more different than Maglor Smith and Andril Hope. He's a chart-topping musician from a complicated high-society family; she's a hardworking doctor with no relatives to speak of. There's no reason a chance encounter involving a crack in the sidewalk should lead to an actual friendship...

   ...except that it does.

As the two grow closer and their lives get more entangled, Annie has a terrifying choice to make. Does her carefully constructed life have room for messy, chaotic love? Or will it bring everything crashing down around her?
