Today’s meetings went on forever. Eclipse had gotten so tired of just the constant talking he just wanted to relax, so he went to the studios roof. Eclipse brought out a cigarette and a lighter. He put the cigarette in his mouth and tried to light it but the lighter wasn’t working no matter what he tried.
“Shit..” Eclipse muttered with the cigarette still in his mouth. Eventually he gave up and threw the lighter off the side of the building and just leaned against the edge of the building.
“Ughh perfect..” Eclipse was so tired he didn’t even have the energy to be mad. He closed his eyes and just breathed in and out. Then suddenly his cigarette was lit. He opened his eyes and looked next to him, it was Ruin. Eclipse inhaled the smoke then exhaled it.
”I thought you said smoking was bad for me?”
“Well I know you’re stressed and I didn’t want there to be more stress from a broken lighter.” Ruin looked down the side of the building.
”I hope you didn’t hit someone..”
”So you saw that..” Ruin turned his head to Eclipse and leaned a bit up resting his elbows on the side of the building.
”Yes, you need to find a better way to get your stress out then smoking..” Eclipse inhaled the smoke again and exhaled.
”Probably but I don’t know what else to do.” Ruin looked at him with a slight concern then turned his head away, he looked like he was thinking.
”Well something that calms me down is dancing.” Ruin’s idea surprised Eclipse a bit.
”Dancing? Really?”
“Yeah, I’m just saying it might relax your nerves.” Ruin gave him a slight smile and extended his hand out to Eclipse. Eclipse looked down at Ruin’s hand then at Ruin’s face. He inhaled the smoke and exhaled again then rubbed the cigarette out on the side of the building. He slowly leaned up and gently grabbed Ruin’s hand. Ruin gently grabbed Eclipse’s other hand.
”Just follow my lead okay?” Eclipse nodded his head slightly. Ruin smiled a little more, then he slightly leaned his left foot forward. Eclipse leaned his backward. Then Ruin put his left foot back and leaned his right foot backwards. Eclipse followed and leaned his right foot forward. They continued this pattern until Ruin started to turn slightly, Eclipse didn’t notice and Ruin tripped over his foot. Before Ruin could hit the ground Eclipse used his extra arms to catch him. Ruin grabbed Eclipse’s hand, locking fingers with him and putting his other hand on the floor. Ruin slowly looked up at Eclipse, and started to laugh. Which confused Eclipse.
”Why are you laughing?”
“Because of your face you look so concerned.” Ruin slowly stood up, Eclipse’s arms still around him.
”You almost fell what do you mean?!”
“It was just a little trip..” Ruin gently grabbed Eclipse’s free hand, locking their fingers. Eclipse didn’t even realize that their fingers were locked.
”Now are you going to keep your arms around my waist or..?” Eclipse apparently also didn’t realize that, he quickly moved his arms.
“I’m..I’m sorry I didn’t even realize that-“ Eclipse felt Ruin’s lower wings around his lower arms.
”No Eclipse I’m joking.. I don’t mind..” Ruin slowly lifted Eclipse’s arms back to his waist, Eclipse wrapped his arms back around Ruin’s waist.
“Now how about we try something a little different. Just follow my lead again.” Ruin slowly took his left leg to the side and back, Eclipse followed. Ruin then did the same with his right and Eclipse did so too. They continued awhile.
”Now I’m going to lean back and you lean forward okay?” Eclipse nodded. Ruin then leaned back a bit and Eclipse leaned forward. Their faces became pretty close. They stared at each other for a while, Ruin leaned forward slightly. Eclipse then leaned back a lot and separated from Ruin. He turned away from Ruin and held his arms.
“Yea I don’t think dancings the thing for me..” Ruin slowly walked toward Eclipse. He gently placed his hand against Eclipse’s arm.
“Can’t you just give it one more chance?” Eclipse turned to see Ruin’s sad smile. He sighed and gently grabbed Ruin’s hands again. They slowly did the side to side step again. Ruin was pretty quiet and so was Eclipse but his mind was racing. How could he mess up that badly?!
“We could try the leaning back thing again..” Eclipse suggested after a few seconds. Ruin looked at him with a slight smile. Eclipse and Ruin locked fingers again, for better grip of course. Then Ruin slightly leaned back and Eclipse slightly leaned forward. This time Ruin looked away with a slight smile but still kind of sad. Eclipse knew he needed to do something.. Eclipse then remembered there was one move he knew, that really everyone knew. He slowly leaned up bringing Ruin up.
“What are you doing?”
“Something.” That made Ruin chuckle a bit. Eclipse slowly separated one of his hands from Ruin and took his other hand lifted it over Ruin’s head and spun him. The spin was slight and a bit too slow that it made him fall into Eclipse.
”Wow, heh, I didn’t expect that!” Ruin was laughing when he looked up at Eclipse. His laughter quieted down. They were in silence for a few seconds when Ruin leaned into Eclipse a bit. Eclipse wrapped his lower arms around Ruin’s waist again. Ruin leaned closer to Eclipse’s face and just waited a bit for conformation. Eclipse slightly nodded and Ruin closed the space. Eclipse’s arms tightened around Ruin’s waist again slightly with the contact but slowly he leaned more into the kiss. Ruin wrapped his arms around Eclipse’s neck. His wings unfolded from the kiss. The kiss lasted for a few seconds until Ruin separated from the kiss to take a breath. Ruin heavily inhaled and exhaled.
”Oh god, I need air.” His arms still around Eclipse’s neck, he leaned back slightly. Eclipse let out a slight chuckle. After Ruin was done breathing he leaned into Eclipse’s chest.
“I.. think I might like you Eclipse..”
”Yeah… me too”
