Regulus wasn’t any earlier than anyone else in the enclosure to learn the news—after all, he hadn’t formally seen Sirius Black, his biological brother who’d declared his independence from the family at the age of sixteen for a full six years. Yes, a full six years—with no texts, no contact, and no exchange of gifts whatsoever. Yet why did everyone on the enclosure assume this would affect him?
