At The Beach, In Every Life

Summary:

Daya and Bosco spend a day at the beach!

Notes:

Got inspired to write this cause I've been addicted to tomodachi life and got Daya and Bosco to get married
Bosco had that one dream running on the beach with Daya which led to me writing this so here ya go

this is about the drag characters, not the people :)

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Daya couldn’t believe her luck. Here she was, at the beach, the ocean waves splashing against her feet. Looking back behind her she could see her girlfriend lounging on a towel under a parasol. She was wearing a black and white striped bikini, her wavy blonde hair put up in a bun, black sunglasses covering her icy blue eyes.

It had only been a few months, but Daya had never loved anyone as much as she loved Bosco. The two had met at a bar, hitting it off after Bosco had used Daya to get away from some creepy man, and had offered to take her out to dinner as a thank you for her help.

The dinner was nice, Bosco had chosen some random Chinese place in Seattle, and the two had hit it off really well. Daya had told Bosco about her cat, her love for piercings, while Bosco had told her she really liked Magic the Gathering, and going out with pretty girls such as Daya, which had made the taller girl’s cheeks flush a bright shade of pink. They had ended the night by swapping phones to give each other their number, and when Daya got her phone back, she had a new contact named ‘Bosco’ with a little orange heart next to it.

After that, they just kept on meeting, to the point they saw one another pretty much everyday, whether it be for coffee, a walk, or even just to say hi. It hadn’t taken long for Daya to fall in love with Bosco, and she had asked her out on the beach they were currently at, all romantic with roses and their names written in the sand. That was 6 months ago, and today, they were back to celebrate their half year anniversary.

Bosco noticed Daya staring at her, and, smirking, she slowly removed her sunglasses, placing them on her towel before walking towards Daya. When she reached her, she leaned in for a kiss, her arms wrapping around Daya’s waist.

“You should get in the water.” Daya murmured in between kisses on Bosco’s lips

“Mmm, no. I prefer watching you be cute.”

“You sure? Wouldn’t you rather be kissing me?”

“Cheeky!” Bosco chuckled. “Obviously, but I don’t need to be in the water for that. I think we’re just fine here, on the sand.”

“Come on!!” Daya whined. “The water’s really nice.”

“We can sit on the edge, but I’m not going fully in. I don’t wanna mess up my hair.” Bosco answered.

“Good enough for me!” Daya smiled, opening her arms and sitting criss-cross on the sand for Bosco to sit on her lap.

Bosco lowered herself to settle on her girlfriend’s lap, Daya’s arms immediately snaking around her waist for better support while Bosco leant her head against her shoulder to kiss her sweetly on her jaw, Daya humming happily in response.

“I’m so lucky you love me.” Daya whispered, moving her head to catch her lips in a kiss. The kiss was soft, sweet, both of them trying to pour all of the love they had for each other in it. Bosco’s lips moved slowly against Daya’s, one of her hands going to rest on Daya’s while the other went behind the taller girl’s back.

“I love you.” Bosco said smiling when they finally broke away from the kiss.

“I love you too.” Answered Daya, smiling too.

Just then however, Daya picked up Bosco bridal style, securing an arm on her back and one under her legs and grinning mischievously.

“Daya!!” Bosco yelped, surprised at the sudden elevation. “Put me down.”

“No.” Daya giggled, carrying her girlfriend deeper in the water.

“Daya, if you get my hair wet, I swear to god-”

Thankfully, while Daya did lower her into the water, getting her body wet, it wasn’t deep enough for her face to be submerged. Once Daya had made sure Bosco was stable, she ran away, leaving Bosco in the cold water, playfully sticking her tongue out.

“Daya Betty, you better start running, cause I’m gonna get you.” Bosco threatened, however the smile on her face gave away her facade.

At that, Daya started running, and Bosco waded out of the water to catch her. She was pretty sure she was faster than her girlfriend, and sure enough, she caught up to her, tackling the taller girl into the sand, standing over her.

“Why must you hurt me like this, Daya.” Bosco said, trying, and failing, to look sad. “I thought you loved me!”

“I do!” Answered Daya.

“Prove it then, instead of dumping me into the water.”

“I didn’t dump you! I put you down gently. But fine.” Daya said, pulling Bosco down by her arm, kissing her passionately, her hands going to Bosco’s cheeks.

Bosco let out a content noise into Daya's mouth as her tongue went into her mouth. She straddled her, her hands staring to roam the body of the girl under her.

“Mmm, Bosco, baby, I love you, but I’d rather not fuck on the public beach, even if no one is around.”

“What? You don’t want the local creep to watch me eat you out?” Bosco asked, feigning surprise as Daya giggled.

“Nah, I’d rather watch you moan my name in our bed.” She answered.

“Ok, yeah, come one, let's go home.”
They dried up and packed quickly before walking to their jeep parked not too far away. The ride home was mostly silent, with the occasional laughs from Bosco as she tried sneaking her hand onto Daya’s thigh while she drove, the latter slapping it away and telling her she needed to ‘concentrate on driving’.

The second they got home, after Bosco had thrown her purse and shoes on the couch, her hands were immediately back on Daya’s body.

“Can I take this off, baby?” Bosco asked, toying with the edge of Daya’s loose shirt.

Daya nodded, and Bosco took it off as they moved to the bedroom, laughing the whole way.
