Summary
Three years after their Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark continue to serve as reluctant mentors and complicit performers for the Capitol. Simultaneously guiding a new generation of tributes under an increasingly controlled Capitol system. As the Games become more performative and politically calculated, reminders of compliance and implicit submission begin to overshadow open brutality, even as quiet acts of rebellion start to surface among both tributes and districts.
