Summary
The war left an impact on everyone, and Ludwig himself knew that the best. Perhaps a fresh start would be good; there were a few (okay maybe one) nation he'd like to painfully forget. Though, was this the fresh start he really wanted? Ludwig never thought his prideful brother would end up as a human. The once powerful German state was in his house, stretching his limbs tiredly after a long journey. Not as Prussia, but as Gilbert. Just Gilbert.
It's strange how quickly one's self esteem can fall after the loss of a title.
OR, an alternate universe where nations are forbidden from identifying themselves as such after reunification + where the German reunification occurs following the end of WW2 + Ludwig and Feliciano are on bad terms following the end of WW2.
