“I don’t know,” the avian man said to stop the supposedly staring competition with an owl-like person. The owl-like person was taken aback by the man’s first words.
“Wh-”
“D3rlord3”
The owl-like person stared at him in shock. “You can read minds?” The owl lady no, her name’s Athena tilted her head a bit, curious about the man’s next answer. She decided to ignore the man’s quite strange name; perhaps he doesn’t want to reveal his real name. He reminds her of one of her students. She shook that idea off, though.
“Something like that… I have infinite knowledge.” He answers after Athena finishes asking her question. He tries to slow down, not to offend the goddess too much by answering too quickly. Though it’s too late since the goddess’s hands twitched without her own acknowledgement. A mere mortal confessed that he had infinite knowledge in front of the goddess of wisdom herself?!
“If that’s so, why didn't you know what this place is?” Athena crossed her arms, suspicious of the man.
The man stayed unblinking. He could feel this place was responding in its own way, giving out a feeling of unfamiliarity. “That’s…” He paused for a moment, thinking of a decent answer for the goddess. “Because this place is different.”
Athena wasn’t happy with his answer. “How is it different?” The goddess shot a glare at him. This is taking too long; she needs to go back to Olympus to get help for an ex-student of hers to get back ho-
“If you’re worried about Odysseus, he’s doing just fin-”
“Let’s focus on the task at hand, shall we?” Athena shot back at him with an irritated smile, though it looked more like a forced grin.
D3rlord3 didn’t answer her immediately. His brain has been banging in his skull for a moment now. He scurried away a bit from the goddess of wisdom, who seems to be quite annoyed by his behaviour. After walking for a bit more, he finally sat down on the cold white floor to clear his mind.

IF I HAD MERGED WITH MY DESTINED VESSEL, I WOULDN’T HAVE MET HER
