Notes:

Welcome to the First chapter. This took around at least 4-5 hours to finish. I was expecting to write around a thousand word a chapter but it seems i cannot do that if i am following the original episodes.

Chapter Text

Paris, the City of Love. Though the name came from all the romantic landmarks and candlelit cafes, one couple just cannot fall for each other at all. Hiding under the disguise of a superhero they cannot fall in love for that will only make them weaker in battles. Scared of losing each other they remained good friends.

“Alright, favorite sports car?” Cat noir asked as he licked his ice-cream.

“Hmm, I haven't exactly watched sports much. How about a Bugatti?” Ladybug replied after scooping her cup of ice-cream.

“You don’t seem to be familiar with the actual names do you?” He chuckled.

“My apologies, it's just been very busy with all this hero stuff, I can't really just sit and enjoy time with my friends and family even.” She replied sadly.

“I wish i could relate, i spent my life in a room all alone so being Cat Noir gives me some freedom.” He let in on a secret he kept away.

“I guess, it gave you freedom while it took mine away.” She replied.

“At least we can trust each other right?” He asked.

“Of course, it's us against the world.” Ladybug stood up and lent her hand out. Cat noir smiled as he grabbed her hand and she pulled him up.

“I think I'll call it a night. See you later.” Ladybug said as she waved to her partner. Cat noir also said his goodbyes before leaving.

Returning to her room secretly she detransformed into her civilian form. Marinette Dupain-cheng, the daughter of Tom & Sabine's Boulangerie Patisserie. She had been Ladybug for over 3 months now. The city has always been protected as long as she rises to her duties. But there was one more secret she had been keeping other than being Ladybug. That was because she had fallen for Cat Noir. Though he found her too flirty and annoying at first, she later found herself wanting to know the boy beneath the mask.

Marinette decided to take a shower before she slept. Although her outfit changes in her hero form she can't help but feel disgusted as she had not taken a shower the whole day. After taking a shower she got cozy under the blanket ready to fall asleep until her phone buzzed. She took a look to see the group chat explode.

Marinette had a small friend group of her classmates. There was Alya Cesaire, an amateur journalist reporting about all ladybug drama. Alix Kubdel, an amazing graffiti artist and an excellent rollerblade skater. Last but not least, Chloe Bourgeois. The daughter of the mayor of Paris. Marinette started reading all the unread messages to catch up on the fiasco.

Alya: I’m not usually the type to visit museums though.

Alix: Come on. My dad hasn’t gotten any visits from teens like us. It could help him a lot to give some of our opinion to keep the museum visitable.

Chloe: Is that supposed to be a word? You will not catch me at a place where peasants have to go to learn about history.

Alix: @Mari You will come right?

Marinette thought about it and decided it would be nice to go out and enjoy instead of attending to hero duties.

Marinette: It would be nice to enjoy something with my girls. I haven’t been actively hanging with you guys.

Alix: Yes you had been always “Studying” everytime we could hang out. You Owe Us this.

Alya: That is true.

Chloe: Seriously? Can’t we at least change the location?

Alix: Nope, it’s official. Meet at the Louvre tomorrow afternoon at 12pm.

Alya: It’s a date.

Chloe: Whatever gonna make you peasants pleased.

Marinette: Cannot wait <3

She plugged her phone to the charger before sleeping in finally. A single day had ended for her yet it always seems to repeat the same tomorrow. The alarm rang loudly, waking her up in shock. She snoozed the alarm as she tried to sleep in. She knew it was still a Sunday. Since she had plans in the afternoon, she could sleep in a bit longer. She needed her beauty sleep even though she doesn't quite dress up.

Sabine, Marinette's mother, knocked on her daughter's room door. Upon not receiving an answer she concluded her daughter was sleeping in. Her mother had noticed her daughter was always busy since she started school. She knew it was the last year of middle school and she would need to work hard to pass her exams. Sabine went down back to the bakery informing Tom their daughter was sleeping in. Tom smiled and pulled out the pastries ready for the opening.

Feeling hungry, Marinette finally got out of bed. She looked at the time on her phone, 10:11am. She had gotten four extra hours of sleep but she still felt exhausted. She got out of her bed and went down stairs to the kitchen. She noticed the letter written on the counter with leftover breakfast which was covered.

‘Have a good day, Sweetie.’ Signed by her parents, she couldn't help but feel warm inside. She had the greatest parents. She couldn't help but feel a bit guilty about the lies she had told them on countless occasions when she had to be Ladybug. Marinette had her breakfast before she got ready to go out with her friends. Before that, she checked her bookbag to go through which homework she had to finish.

She knew she had missed a bunch of classes in the week. Alya always helped out by sending all homework notes. As she was reading through the text messages, she noticed there was a history work due Tuesday. Marinette searched through her bag to find the workbook, however she could not find it. She screamed as she tried to recall where she might have last kept it. In the middle of the crash out she received a link from Alya about her Ladyblog.

She got a bit excited as she always enjoyed the Ladyblog. It had comments of support for ladybug which always cheers her up when she makes mistakes. As she pressed the link, she saw Alya's vlog of yesterday catching Ladybug swinging around chasing a helicopter.

“Don’t blink now, cause we are live from Paris.” Alya said to the screen. “Yo peeps, Alya here. Bringing you the one and only Ladyblog.” She introduced herself.

“Huh? What is that?” She looked up and the camera panned high. A helicopter flew past as Ladybug was holding onto it with her yo-yo. Ladybug screamed as she went past above. As she went by, something fell from her bag.

“Ladybug in action.” Alya screamed.

“Hang on, cause we are going for a ride.” Alya said as she noticed the item that fell out. She went to pick it up to realize it was a book. She gasped.

“Freak out!” She said before panning the camera back on herself showing the book. “What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a 9th grade history book  and I should know cause I got this very same book.” She explained as she showed the cover.

“Could our very own ladybug be a middle school student in real life?” She questioned before the video ended.

Marinette's eyes widened as she saw her missing history book in the hands of Alya. She screamed loudly as she rolled around the room in disbelief to her mistakes.

“You seemed to be quite troubled, Marinette.” A familiar voice echoed in Marinette’s head. It was Tikki, the Kwami of Creation who granted the power for Ladybug. Tikki doesn’t usually use her physical form as it will be dangerous to be caught by other people.

“My cover will be blown very soon, when Alya notices my book is missing when I didn't finish my homework.” Marinette was frustrated.

“Right, perhaps I can help you with that.” Tikki said calmly.

“Really how?” Marinette sat up focused.

“Go to the Louvre with Alya and tell her to bring the book. Tell her you found something about Ladybug from the Pharoah exhibit.” Tikki informed her.

“That’s actually a great idea, since my girls and I already had plans for the Louvre. Tikki, thank you so much.” Marinette said as she walked to her closet.

“Of course, call me when you need me.” Tikki mentioned before she rested.

“Rest well Tikki.” Marinette said as she scrambled through her closet. Suddenly she heard the front door shut and someone stepping up the stairs. She looks at her attic door to hear a knock and someone familiar scream.

“DUPAIN CHENG!” She screamed loudly as she stomped her foot once.

It was Chloe. Marinette opened the door and Chloe walked inside her room.

“Good morning to you as well Chloe.” Marinette smiled.

“I thought we were going to the Museum. Are pajamas supposed to be worn there? Omg That's just ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.” She complained as she pointed at Marinette’s outfit.

“Chloe… I was looking through for an outfit. I woke up late and just had breakfast.” She explained.

“Oh… No wonder because you smell like pancakes.” Chloe muttered.

“Why are you here anyways?” Marinette questioned as she went back to her closet.

“Oh right, what do you think of this fit? For the Louvre." Chloe said she posed in her outfit. It was a floor length gold dress.

“Chloe, it's a museum not a gala.” Marinette remarked.

“Ugh.. You peasants really wear such boring things to every occasion.” She complained.

“Come on, I'll lend you an appealing peasant outfit.” Marinette said she started looking through her closet.

“Well, since there is no choice.” She mumbled.

Although Chloe seemed the snobby type, she was a fan of Marinette’s designer clothes. Chloe found expensive clothes unfitting among her classmates. But Marinette had a simple style yet a really clean look. Chloe had looked everywhere for the outfits she wore but couldn't find them. She had the courage to ask her in person and finally got the answer being it was Marinette's own designed clothes. Chloe knew that she had to be her friend knowing she may make millions of money and designer clothes. They did not get along at first but slowly Marinette had warmed up to her snobby attitude.

After picking an outfit for each other, they took Chloe's limousine to the Louvre where Alya and Alix were already waiting. After they arrived they got both of compliments from Alix and Alya for their outfit.

“You can thank Marinette, she’s the Princess of Fashion." Chloe said as she strutted.

“Not the Queen?” Alix asked.

“Oh please, you know my mother is the queen of fashion.” Chloe shared.

“Oh right, Audrey Bourgeois. The queen of fashion, Director of Style Queen.” Alya remembered. “You know you should let your mother meet Marinette. It could pop of her fame.”

“Oh no, It’s alright. I'm still in school at the moment. Maybe after i become an adult.” Marinettesaid looking away. She feels the responsibility of being ladybug more important for now.

“You think i didn't tell her  about it the first time, it’s gonna take a long time but i will convince you to meet my mom one day Marinette.”

“I can’t wait for that day.”

“Alright enough of that, which exhibit do you guys wanna check out?”

“Wait before that I want to show you guys something.” Alya said as she reached into her bag. Marinette knew it was going to be the book so she had to act fast.

“How about the Pharoah Exhibit? I saw something on the internet about Ladybug there.”

Alya’s eyes sparked excitedly. “Really?”

Marinette nodded. Alix guided them to the Pharoah section. As they entered, someone collided with Alya and jumped to catch an item they almost dropped. Marinetteheld on to Alya before she could drop.

“It’s not broken.” Said the male. Alix recognized her brother and called out. “Jalil? What are you doing?”

“Oh hello Alix, I see you brought your friends. Are they also into ancient Egyptians?” He asked excitedly.

“Not exactly…” Alix replied.

“Oh Father.” Jalil called out as he ran to his father. Alim Kubdel, the Director of the Tutankhamun exhibit.

“That’s your brother? He looks ridiculous.” Chloe remarked.

“Hey! He’s just in college so he is looking a bit messy that's all.” Alix defended her brother.

“Sorry” Chloe apologized which felt wrong until she spoke again. “That he’s your brother.”

Everyone sighed before walking towards the collections in the room. Marinette scanned the whole room trying to figure out what she could show to Alya to throw her off from Ladybug being a middle school student.

‘Tikki a little help’ Marinette asked in her mind.

‘The papyrus.’ She heard in her head and dragged her girls. “It’s right over here guys.” She pointed at the Papyrus. “I'm sorry Ladybug is here?”

“Yes yes. It’s around here… somewhere…” She said as she looked through.

“I'm telling you father it’s right there in the hieroglyphics.” The girls heard Jalil behind them walking up with his father. “Ladies, please step aside.” He asked. The girls stepped to the side as they waited for them to leave.

“There, as you know, the one with the scepter is Tutankhamun, the first. And there, opposite is Nerftiti, his princess. There are exactly one hundred mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the sun god Ra took her as his goddess.” Jalil stated.

“Yes, I know all that. I'm the director of this exhibition, remember?” His father reminded him.

“Then you also know that Tutankhamun wanted to bring his princess back to life, by offering the sun god a new wife. This seemed to illustrate the ritual he devised. Nobody has ever fully deciphered the hieroglyphics, but I have! It's a magic chant that needs to be recited in order to complete the ritual! I'm sure of it!” Jalil went on with his explanation.

Marinette felt Jalil’s passion for history reminded her of Alya.

“Reminds me of someone else who is crazy.” The girls looked at Marinette as she pointed at Alya. Alya let out a small gasp.

“Hey, you might think my theories about Ladybug are crazy, but I will prove you guys wrong.” Alya whispered. The girls giggled together.

“Jalil, these types of frescoes are almost always the illustration of a ‘legend’. They called it a legend for a reason…” Alim reminded him as he walked away.

“That's what everyone thinks. But I know it's real. I can prove it!” Jalil pulled his father’s arm.

“Really? And exactly how are you going to prove it?” His father asked him.

“I just need to get my hands on Tutankhamun's scepter and recite the spell!” Jalil explained as he tried to grab the scepter. His father immediately grabbed his arm and stopped him.

“Are you serious? Don't even think of touching that scepter. I'd lose my job on the spot. It's a priceless historical object! Not a toy!” His father ordered as he walked away.

“Come on, dad! We have to try out the spell! What if Tutankhamun had found out how to bring people back to life?” He screamed out to his dad.

“Listen, Jalil! That's enough! Get your head out of those papyrus scrolls and focus on the real world! This one!” He yelled to his son. Before walking out of the exhibit.

Jalil felt heartbroken as he walked out of the exhibit.

“Yikes, he just went too far.” Alix remarked.

“Don’t you think you should cheer your brother up?” Marinette questioned.

“Don’t worry, Jalil will be fine. Another history item will catch his eye and get him obsessed.” Alix replied, believing her brother will always get back up no matter what. “Plus, I wanna know about this Ladybug thing you saw in the papyrus.”

“Oh right, Ladybug.” Marinette panicked as she looked it over again. The girls watched Marinette panic like a chicken who may have lost her head. They waited there for at least five minutes watching her do this. Suddenly they heard a whistle behind them. It was security running up to an odd looking Pharoah.

“Thoth, give me time!” He said as his mask changed to Thoth, the god of knowledge. He uses his hand to summon a glowing bubble which he uses to trap the security approaching him. He proceeds to throw more bubbles at the visitors. The girls quickly dodged a bubble heading their way and hid behind a pillar.

“Is that supposed to be a costume?” Chloe asked pointing towards the Pharoah.

“No, i don't think’s a costume but a-" Alix said before being interuptted.

“An akumatized villain. This is awesome.” Alya said as she pulled her phone out ready to record.

“Alya, hide! You could get us caught.” Alix whispered. Suddenly she ran over to hide behind another pillar.

“I swear we should not bring her with to tea parties.” Chloe exclaimed.

“No time for that we gotta hide and run away.” Marinette said as she got her knees to hide out of Pharaoh's sight. The other two followed behind her to escape out of the room.

“Get out of here, faster!” The pharaoh yelled. The bubbles flew out of the room quickly.

The girls escaped the room without Alya. Marinette then told Alix to tell her father to guide the rest of the people out. Chloe didn’t seem to want to stay inside so she quickly ran out side.

“I’ll get Alya and come out soon.” They both nodded and left. Marinette took this chance to hide in the ladies room and then transform. She used the window from the toilet to get out and pretend to swing in to the Louvre. Chloe met up with her at the entrance and called out to her.

“Oh my god, Ladybug there is a villain inside and my friends are inside.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll get your friends out don't worry.” She said to Chloe before entering.

Alya on the other hand went live immediately and recorded the pharaoh. “Coming to you live, Ladyblog viewers, I’m at the scene even before Ladybug or Cat Noir. This is insane!” She whispered.

After the Pharoah steals the papyrus from the wall the alarm goes off. The gate at the exit immediately falls down. However, Ladybug manages to slide under it to enter inside.

“You know that’s considered stealing.” She said to the Pharoah.

“Actually, I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me.” Pharoah replied.

“Maybe if you were the real Pharaoh, which you're not!” She replied.

“Look at Ladybug go! If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up!” Alya commented as she continued her live. Ladybug shoos her to hide away. “Ladybug waved at me! No way!” Alya deluded herself instead.

Ladybug uses her yo-yo to attack the Pharaoh, but he grabs the yo-yo and swings Ladybug away, making her crash into a wall.

“Sekhmet, give me your strength!” His face changes. He uses his strength to bend the bars to leave the exhibit.

“How nice of you to hold the door open for me!” Cat Noir said as he arrived in front of the gate. As he tries to attack Pharoah, he gets grabbed and thrown into a coffin by Pharoah. Ladybug immediately went to open up the coffin to release her partner.

“Enjoy your coffin!” Pharoah laughed as he was about to walk away.

“This is hecka crazy! Keep your eyes peeled!” Alya commented as she came out of hiding to record. Looking at her shadow getting larger she looked behind to see Pharoah. He stood over her before placing his hands on her face.

“Your face. Fate has placed you on my path. Come with me!” Pharoah mumbled as he grabbed her and slings her over his shoulder.

“Hey! Hands off the threads. I can walk by myself!” Alya screamed as she hit the Pharaoh helplessly.

Ladybug sighed watching her best friend get caught in between. She grabbed onto the cover of the coffin and pulled it off. Cat Noir gets up as he is free. Ladybug called out after Pharoah. “Let her go.”

“Hiding behind an innocent bystander! You're weak, Pharaoh!” Cat Noir screamed after him.

“I'm way more powerful than you are.” Pharoah uses his strength to close the bars and walks away. Ladybug and Cat Noir runs up to the bar to pull it apart themselves but fails.

“And don't forget! All the latest behind-the-scenes are on my blog!” Alya shouted and winked at the both of them.

“That Alya is one brave chick.” Cat Noir complimented her to Ladybug.

“If by brave, you mean bossy, feisty, and bold? Yup, that's her!” She said as she counted on her fingers. “Come on, get us out of here, Cat Noir!” She asked him for help.

“Cataclysm!” Cat Noir screamed. He summoned his magic to destroy the bar. “How are we gonna find them?” Cat Noir asked as they ran out of the exhibit.

“Alya's got a livestream on her blog!” She opens her Yo-yo, which could also be used as a phone. She plays the livestream from the Ladyblog.

“Hi, everyone! Alya here, liveblogging from the shoulder of the terrifying villain! Huge scoop to come, stay tuned!” Alya commented as she was carried out of the Louvre.

Cat Noirs hears his Miraculous beeps and excuses himself to recharge. Ladybug reached the front door and sees Pharoah walking out. She watches the livestream to hear Pharoah’s plans.

Pharoah had put Alya on the ground before stating his next plan. “On to the next phase. Anubis, bring me mummies!” His face morphs again. Beams of light shoot from his eyes, transforming nearby civilians into mummies. “Soon, we'll be together again, my Nefertiti! My long-lost love!”

“This is gonna be one major scoop!” Alya said excitedly. She taps Pharaoh on the shoulder. ”Uh, excuse me, Pharaoh, but, uh, what exactly is going on here?” She asked as she recorded her surroundings.

“I'm going to carry out the secret spell to bring Nefertiti back!” He said.

“You're talking about the spell on the papyrus, right?” She asked him.

“Correct! The one hundred mummies and the offering!” He stated.

“Offering. What offering?” She questioned.

“To persuade the sun god Ra to give me back my sweet princess, I must give him something in return. A pure soul!” He explained.

“Dude, that's hard to come by.” Alya replied knowing there may not be any souls around.

“But I've already found her! You look so much like her!” Pharoah said as he grabbed her by the chin and showed the papyrus back to her. Alya looked over to the papyrus noticing the princess.

“Say what?!” She muttered in shock. Pharoah let out a laugh.

Alya panned the camera back to herself “Ladybug, this is Alya! I just found out I'm the sacrificial offering to the sun god! Please hurry!” She screamed for help.

“Hold on, Alya.” My partner is here soon. Cat Noir comes back to her. “Thanks for waiting around for me.” He smiled at her.

“No problem.” Ladybug greeted him back. “We have to find where the Akuma is hiding, before he sacrifices that poor girl as an offering.” They notice the entrance blocked so they run to the rooftop. Meanwhile Alya is grabbed by the Pharaoh so she cannot escape. She keeps recording in hopes of Ladybug coming to her rescue.

All of a sudden she notices a figure in the papyrus.

“Whoa, back up! Who's that goddess chick with the black spots! There, on your papyrus!” She asked the Pharoah.

“Ladybug, my sworn enemy! My nemesis may have kept me from carrying out my ritual

5000 years ago, but she will not stop Nefertiti from coming back to me this time!” He stated.

“Did you say... Ladybug 5000 years ago?!” Alya whispered in shock.

Ladybug and Cat Noir watching the stream froze in shock.

“Everyone does have a past they can learn from.” She said to Cat Noir.

Cat Noir looked at Ladybug properly. “Well, you don't look a day over 3000.” He laughed.

“Now you know why I'm so much wiser than you. Hm!” She exclaimed.

“Oh, sacred Ra, god of the sun, I Pharaoh, offer to thee a pure soul!” Pharoah said as the scepter glowed into the air. The Pharoah let go of Alya. Before she could run away she was grabbed by the mummies.

“The sacrifice for the return of Nefertiti!” The Pharaoh shouted. Ladybug and Cat Noir watched as the Louvre pyramid lit up. It shot a beam into the sky as it started spreading darkness.

“I bow to you, and present this gift with my mummies! In company, we pray for the safe return of Princess Nefertiti! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken!” He continued on as the sky got darker.

The mummies started to walk to the pyramid carrying Alya.

“We've gotta save her before he completes the ritual, or Alya will be gone, forever!” Ladybug spoke to Cat Noir.

“What should we do?” He asked her.

“Hold back the mummies while I take on the Pharaoh.” She said to him.

“Why do I have to deal with these freaks while you get to slip calmly round back?” He questioned.

“Because I'm the only one who can capture his akuma, and because you are the bravest one out of both of us!” Ladybug winks at him before swinging away.

“I know you don't really think that, but I'll pretend you do.” Cat Noir says to himself before following the plan.

The mummies continued chanting as they were headed to the pyramid.

“Hey there, you bunch of bandages! What do you say we wrap this up!” Cat Noir called out to distract the mummies.

Pharoah, who noticed him, called out to his mummies to seize Cat Noir. The mummies chased Cat noir.

“Is that really as fast as you can go?” Cat Noir said as he jumped from one street lamp to another.

“Wait, this looks... like a trap!” Pharoah realizes and turns to his offering.

Ladybug swings down and grabs Alya. She swings on to the roof to keep her safe.

“Horus, give me your wings!” Pharoah called out. His mask morphs again before he can fly.

“Peeps, you just witnessed another insane feat from Ladybug! Thanks for saving my butt!” Alya continues her stream about ladybug.

“Oh, uh, you're welcome. But it's not over yet. Not until–” Ladybug spoke to be interrupted by Alya.

“Not until Ladybug destroys the pendant containing the akuma, and turns everything back to normal! I pay attention.” She explains.

“The pendant! Good eye!” Ladybug agreed to her.

Pharaoh knocks Ladybug off the roof, but she uses her yo-yo to land safely.

“Way to go, Ladybug!” Alya continues to record Ladybug. Pharaoh lands behind her and throws her phone away “No!” Alya screamed at her precious phone. Fortunately Ladybug catches the phone before it hits the ground. She turns the phone to see it’s still live.

“Oh! Hello there Ladyblog viewers.” She said nervously. Ladybug heard the Pharoah shout. “You're not going to win this time, Ladybug!” He says as he carried Alya and flew towards the pyramid.

“Crush that insect!” He ordered.

Ladybug was surrounded by mummies. She put the phone into her Yo-yo for safe keeping before swinging it. She witnesses Alya being thrown onto the beam of light and carried upward. Cat Noir comes by and helps her out by swiping the mummies off their feet. “I think we could use some luck now, Milady.” Cat Noir told her.

Ladybug calls out her Lucky Charm. Her yoyo sparkled and summoned an item to help her. “A Ladybug outfit?” She looked at the item.

“That's our last hope?” Cat Noir asked. “I hope I’m not the one who has to wear it to match with you.”

Ladybug used her Lucky Vision, and the earrings in the costume glowed. “Oh please I don't need anyone matching, cause there is only one Ladybug with magic earrings.” She said she took out only the earrings. Cat Noir held on to the rest of the item.

“This offering isn't good enough for Nefertiti!” She called out to the Pharoah.

“Hey! Thanks a lot!” Alya pouted angrily.

“Too late, Ladybug! The ritual has begun!” Pharoah said.

“Set Alya free and sacrifice me instead! Wouldn't that be the sweetest revenge? 5000 years later! After all, I'm the one who kept Nefertiti from you all these years!” Ladybug announced.

“You know what you are doing?” Cat Noir whispered to her.
“Yes, also the Akuma is in the pendent. Be ready.” Ladybug whispered back.

Pharoah feeling that would be the right choice agreed.

“It's true that you would make a much more precious offering than this mortal.” Pharoah flies towards Ladybug and takes her hand. He takes her and flies towards Alya. Pharoah grabs Alya and drops her. Cat Noir comes to the rescue and catches her.

“Excuse you, but I make excellent sacrificing material!” She said as she was put to the ground. “I’m sure you do, but not today at least.” Cat Noir replied.

Pharoah lent out his hand and demanded Ladybug to take off her earrings and give it to him.

“You win, Pharaoh…” She said as she pretended to take off her earrings. Before she gives it to him she grabs the pendant and rips it off his neck.

“You want my Miraculous? Go get it!” She then throws the earrings from her other hand.

Pharoah quickly flies towards the earrings to catch them. He realized too late that the earrings were indeed fake. “A toy? You tricked me!” He screamed in anger. Before he could go back Ladybug breaks the pendant which reverses the beam back to normal and the Pharoah returns to normal to reveal Jalil.

Ladybug slides down the pyramid and pulls out her yoyo to capture the Akuma.

“Wonderfully executed Ladybug.” Cat Noir complimented her. Ladybug grinned as she walked over to Alya. She pulled Alya’s phone out of the Lucky charm and gave it back to her.

“Oh my god. Thank you Ladybug.” Alya said excitedly.

“Here you go, milady.” Cat Noir handed out the lucky charm.

“Thank you, my knight.” She took it back as she needed to return all the mummies back to normal.

“Miraculous Ladybug.” She called out as she threw the charm into the air. It exploded into a blast of energy followed by mini ladybugs. It turned everyone back to their civilian forms.

“What happened?” Jalil walked up to the heroes feeling confused.

“You were akumatized. But we have saved you from Hawkmoth.” Ladybug replied.

“Oh man. I didn't mean to cause destruction. I just felt bad that my father didn't want to let me do things I wanted.” Jalil said feeling sorry.

“You know it’s important to learn about history, but repeating it is kinda wrong don't you say?” Alya asked.

“That is true even if we learn a way to bring the dead back, we would have to give up the future.” Cat Noir replied.

“Yeah, looks like I still have a lot to learn.” Jalil agreed.

Ladybug and Cat Noir fist bumped as their mission was over. “Pound it!.” Ladybug

“Wait Ladybug, I still gotta ask: how old are you, really?” Alya asked as she kept the recording live.

“Um, much older than a high school student, that's for sure!” Ladybug said as she swung away.

“Don't you wanna know how old I am?” Cat Noir asked her sarcastically.

“Not interested, I would have called my blog the Kitty blog instead.” Alya replied sarcastically as well.

Cat Noir laughed before fleeing the scene. Alya walked back to the entrance to meet up with Chloe.

“Oh there you are! Where’s Marinette she was supposed to find you?”

“I don’t know, but I got some huge scoop. Let’s go find Alix and Marinette” Alya exclaimed as she walked beside Chloe. Ladybug immediately went inside the Louvre to go back to the exhibit to look for Alya’s bag. She recovered the book and went back to the toilets to destransform.

“Tikki, can you help me out and take this book back to my house?” Marinette called out to Tikki.

Tikki agreed and took the physical form of a hawk. Kwami’s can take the physical form of another animal to stay near their holders. But it does consume energy, so Tikki had to finish this task quickly. She carried the book out through a window without being spotted. Marinette sighed in relief and left the toilet.

She met up with her girls by the papyrus.

“Marinette was right about Ladybug being mentioned, apparently she had been a superhero for 5000 years.”

Alya went on and explained about what she had found out.

“Wow that’s great but what was she doing with that book from our school?”

“Oh yeah, there were some scribbles on the book.” Alya said as she reached into her bag which she had retrieved earlier. “If we could figure out who’s handwriting it matches… Wait, where's the book?”

“Knowing she can’t have her cover blown she probably took it back.” Alix replied. The girls laughed as Alya sighed in frustration. “Oh man, and I was so close to finding out who Ladybug was.” Alya said.

“Don’t you think exposing their identities would be dangerous? I mean Hawkmoth might threaten their family and friends.” Marinette said worriedly..

“Oh yeah, that would be terrible.” Alix exclaimed.

“Clearly, your brain can't process the important things, Alya.” Chloe remarked about Alya. “Hey!” Alya felt annoyed.

They had a laugh before continuing to explore the exhibit. After exploring the Louvre, they had a meal at a nearby cafe and ended the day. Chloe dropped everyone off at their house. When Marinette was dropped she told her she would return the outfit tomorrow after school. Marinette didn't mind and told her that it was alright. She said her goodbyes and went inside the bakery.

She met up with her parents and told her about her day and said she was gonna finish her homework and go to sleep. She went back to her room to find her history book on her desk and Tikki resting nearby.

“Thanks a lot.” Marinette thanked her.

“No worries, I’m always here when you need me.” Tikki reminded her.

She pulled out her secret cookie jar and gave Tikki a cookie before she started her homework. After finishing the homework, she took a shower and headed out for Patrol. During night time, when crimes rise, Ladybug and Cat Noir patrol around the city before they both sleep in for the night.
