    “Half?” Glitch asked, gaping in disbelief.

    “I’m not about to let some other merc or whatever else this fucked up planet has to throw at us zero me and take my gear because you couldn’t hold it like a big girl, hacker. Or because you didn’t have the foresight to maybe handle that before.”

    Glitch, a Vandal-class Runner, and Blackbird, a Recon-class Runner, are out on a contract that's taken them to Dire Marsh, one of Tau Ceti IV's most notorious flashpoints. They don't get along particularly well, but credits are credits out on Tau Ceti. Unfortunately, Glitch drank too many stims prior to deploying and really needs to pee. Well, at least they're not at Outpost.
