Chapter Text
Clarisse had always been the stereotypical Ares kid. Even before she was claimed, and before she got to Canp Half-Blood. She rarely got injured on the battlefield.
But then she did, and now she's in the infirmary. "Training out of all things," she muttered while on her 'mandatory' rest. Will had told her that she needed to stay for a little longer. She wasn't even badly injured.
Silena came up to her, huh she wasn't in usually in the infirmary, well not like she noticed, but she just assumed that she would be with the other Aphrodite kids.
"How are you doing?" Silena asked and checked Clarisse's bandages.
"I'm good, the nectar helped and my cuts hurt less." Unfortunately Clarisse always noticed that she became kinda different around Silena. Not in a bad way just...she seemed easy to talk to, not what she assumed an Aphrodite kid would be like.
"I think you're healing well, your injuries weren't too serious. You can probably go soon, just wait to go train for a day or two." Silena said.
"Really?"
"Yes Clarisse," she replied, "It's so you don't get more injuries, you'll survive a few days."
"Says a daughter of Aphrodite."
"Oh you wanna challenge me to a fight?" Silena said and smirked.
"Hey if you're seriously up for it." she replied.
"Maybe I'll find a time, you know fighting isn't my favorite."
"Ok how about this," Clarisse said, "We do a little training together, and then I will help you with whatever you do in the strawberry fields."
"Deal, How about Friday? You should be fully healed then."
"Alright, I'll see you then." Clarisse said and left the infirmary. She couldn't really do anything else right now, so she just went back to her cabin.
Her and Silena didn't talk a lot, but they started hanging out a lot more recently. Mainly since they were both counselers for their cabins. Unfortunately some of the other kids in Aphrodite cabin were really annoying, basically just giving their cabin a worse reputation.
Again though, she noticed that she felt different about Silena...it's not like I like her as like more than a friend. Clarisse thought. She hated trying to figure out relationship stuff or whatever. Last time this happened was at her school and she couldn't tell if this girl was flirting with her, and it just got really complicated.
Whatever, I don't need to worry about this, she's an Aphrodite child, she can figure this out and maybe she'll make a move or something. Well...hopefully, since Clarisse really didn't know what to do about it, and know she was overthinking it again.
She tried to sleep, just to stop overthinking everything, and maybe she could just talk to Silena on Friday.
