    After Castiel falls from heaven along with the rest of the angels, he discovers that losing his grace to Metatron has devastating consequences for him. Dean and Sam find him and bring him back to the batcave but they find that Castiel is not the same. They work to heal him as they deal with the aftermath of Metatron's actions and the continued burden of hunting as well as Abaddon's attempts to take over hell.
