   Summary

After being targeted and assaulted by a crazed fan, Veritas Ratio's mental health is being called into question, and the Intelligentsia Guild decided for him that he needed to take a mental health break for the summer period (to protect their asset, of course). He refuses, but there's no denying that something unusual is happening within his mind, and he's made it his mission to ignore and deny it. While he does, however, he's given an offer he can't refuse from the IPC, and along the way, he meets a puzzling and bothersome gambling fool from the IPC's Stonehearts who is in his own trouble with his bosses for his impulsive behavior, and the two are saddled together for a mission. Through this adventure, they'll both find their own relationship form into something neither of them would've expected.
