Connie was a sinner.
Marion was a saint.
Connie was brash, too honest, emotional, sometimes aggressive.
Marion was kind, caring, considerate, sometimes sensitive.
Connie resorted to throwing fists if things didn't work out.
Marion tried to talk it out until the very end and gave up if it didn't work.
Which leads us to now…
Marion was being bullied by Nelson and tried telling him to stop, to leave her alone, countless times, yet he would still bother her each and every day.
Connie told him to knock it off. When that didn't work? She punched him in the gut and gladly suffered the consequences for Marion.
Marion was Connie's everything and she would protect her friend until the day she dies, even if that makes her the bad guy.
Marion is a saint. But she still stays no matter what.
Connie is a sinner. But maybe being a sinner isn't so bad if she's got someone to sin for.
