Summary
Peter Spankoffski has been ignoring everyone for god knows how long. All that matters to him is that he focuses on his studies, goes to a nice school, and ends up successful. Until then, his mental health issues will have to wait. He’s lucky enough that he’s learned what people want to see, and has learned to conform instead of doing dorky shit to get himself bullied. He shares a history class with Richie Lipschitz, who absolutely despises him for reasons he still can’t quite understand, but has managed to avoid him, until now.
Richie Lipschitz has spent every moment of his life getting bullied. Whatever, though, people just didn’t like what didn’t conform. He used to have two best friends, but now he has one. The other, Peter Spankoffski, suddenly abandoned him two years ago, and completely ignores him for reasons he still can’t quite understand. That didn’t matter, because Ruth was there to gossip with him whenever he was worked up. Until he is forced to partner with him in history class for a project that seems way longer than it actually is.
