“Megumi!!” Gojo announced, his voice quavering a bit in false anticipation. “Do you mind having a roomie?”
Megumi certainly did mind having a roomie. Megumi minded having a “roomie” quite a bit. But if Gojo wanted this kid to live with Megumi out of the blue, he had to have a valid enough reason. Gojo wouldn’t pull a stunt this complex that often. Megumi’s mind was working a mile a minute, trying to put together the puzzle pieces of this new change. He didn’t see the sense in arguing now, but when he and Gojo had the chance… Megumi had a list of queries, to say the least. Who was this random kid? Why was he here? And better yet, why didn’t Gojo give him a five minute heads up so Megumi could change his shirt?
“Whatever,” Megumi grumbled, stuffing his math homework into his folder. Clearly, triangles would have to wait. “Where’d you pick up the stray?”
He didn’t feel as bad about the sharp words as he probably should, but it was almost one am.
“Rude,” said Gojo, pouting. “This is Yuji!”
