Izuku has no filter apparently

Summary:

Katsuki finds out about Izuku’s analysis of him. It’s not… morally sound exactly.

Work Text:

… Kacchan's quirk is being able to ignite sweat from his palms to act like nitroglycerin right? So what would happen if I set him on fire during gym class? (Purely hypothetical of course I would never hurt Kacchan) He’d probably explode the whole building with how much sweat secretes off of him, so that might not be the best method of harming him. What if I trapped him in a freezer? His quirk is weak to the cold so it would cause him a slow painful death with no ways to escape. That would be illogical though. If someone looked for him for whatever reason he could just tell them I did it. How would his quirk react to bullets?
I bet-

“DEKUUUU!!!!” Ah fuck, class was over. He put down his pencil quickly and attempted to shove his notebook in his bag quickly. Kacchan noticed and snatched it from his hands.

“What’s this you got, Null? You perving out on the heroes again?” Kacchan's lackeys snickered behind him. Kacchan flipped the book around but it just said ‘Analysis’, there was no mention of heroes anywhere. Even Izuku could admit that was odd, but this notebook wasn’t for heroes….

“No Kacchan! It’s just a little research I’m doing for, uh, class! For class, right. Yeah…. Totally…”
Izuku did not sound convincing. He’d always been a poor liar. He was sneaky, sure, but lying? Not his strong suit.

“HEHH?! Don’t call me that you damn nerd! And quit lying while you're at it!” Katsuki opened the book roughly and cracked the spine. Izuku winced, the book lover in him was screeching at the abuse of the poor book. “What… the fuck is this?!”

Izuku gritted his teeth, he was getting real tired of his ex friends attitude. If he was even a little less patient, he probably would have at least made one attempt on Katsuki’s life. Thankfully, he wanted to be a hero. Still, it was tempting from time to time.

He repeated the mantra silently in his head as best he could and took deep breaths as he nervously fidgeted. jUnfortunately, there were a lot of incriminating things in there. Enforced suicide, murder, framing, and kidnapping were some of them. The thought of having to explain the contents to his principal was scary, let alone his mom.

He got goosebumps just thinking about the look on her face the one time she saw a tamer version when he was younger. He was NOT keen on going back to therapy. Being known as criminally insane wasn’t on his to-do list

He saw the moment his bully figured out the contents and gazed fearfully at the hands clutching his book, watching for sparks. The silence was deafening and Katsuki’s friends looked uncomfortable, meanwhile the ringleader just continued to examine the pages about him. Needless to say, he was kinda freaked out.

Suddenly, explosions burst from his hands and he lunged at Izuku. He tried to dodge, but it was futile, he caught a glimpse of his notebook flying out the window and mourned the loss internally. Katsuki’s left hand pressed hard against his shoulder while the other gripped his chin threateningly.

“Are you fucking trying to kill me Null?” The manic gleam in his eyes frightened him. “Do you think that’s funny?! Do you?! Think you can take me on, fucking useless piece of shit?” Katsuki panted in his face. Izuku got distinctly reminded of a bull in that moment, the brashness and mindless rage giving that general vibe.

“Woah, damn, what did the kid do?!” Karage, the kid with the long fingers, laughed at him.

“Fucker thinks he can fight me! He’s been doing the same pervy shit he does with those other lame heroes!”

“Wait, for real? Oh my god, that’s hilarious?” The black haired kid was outright laughing and Katsuki gripped his face tighter, then grinned.

“Wa- wait, Kacchan it was a joke! Please just go, I’ll get rid of it! I swear!” He was, sadly, ignored.

“I think we ought to teach him a lesson, maybe he’ll finally come to his senses.”

Everything went black after that.

“Hey, Deku-kun? What’s this?” Ochako held up his old notebook and Izuku frowned.

“Huh… I don’t remember that one, I have one through thirteen, just set that one down for now, maybe?” Him and Ochako had been looking through his old notebooks, trying to see if he had any good analysis for a quirk similar to Eri’s, but they hadn’t found it yet. The dust in the air was getting unbearable, he hadn’t touched any of the older notebooks for at least a year.

“Hold on, let me see.” Ochako opened it, and a few seconds after she saw the thirteenth page, she paled.

“Umm…. Deku-kun?” Izuku looked up, confused.

“Yeah? What’s going on, did you find it yet?”

“Why do you.. er… have a diagram with Bakugou’s limbs severed?” Ochako tilted the book and looked at him, disturbed.

“Wait! Hold on, I can explain, I swear!!!”
