Summary
Personifications’ job is to truly understand their people. To represent better than anyone else, to be the physical embodiment of who the nation is as a whole. Even if that personification decides to completely ruin the country’s reputation. After the break up of his two-year long relationship with Kiku, Alfred ‘Mr. America’ seeks alcohol and clubbing to push away the grieving process of his very dead relationship. All while he forgets who he is, his people raise eyebrows at his uncomfortable lifestyle.
Ivan’s interesting take on relationships and what he perceives as love, takes Alfred and Ivan’s friendship to a level of intimacy that can only be hidden from the public.
With the Russian people keeping a close eye on everything Ivan does and Alfred’s people already doubting him as their personification, their lifestyles must be kept secret and out of anyones knowledge. For their nations.
