Work Text:
Meta Liberation Front's new grand boss: Tomura Shigaraki.
His, beloved, right-hand man: Dabi.
Tomura was just walking off stage, with his comrades in tow, after the entire "Tomura Shigaraki, leader of the League of Villains, now the grand boss of the MLF" shenanigans. He was exhausted. An injured arm, a broken leg, and he has to use a stupid crutch, which he's hating every. single. second. of.
While walking lost in thought, he stumbled forward and fell. He paused. Mr. Compress moving closer to him
"My god, you must be exhausted," he sighs, putting a hand on his hip, "Well it's no wonder. You took so much damage its really a miracle you're still alive..."
Tomura didn't move, not once. Not even a flinch. He could hear poeple talking but he can't seem to focus on whatever they're saying. Was that the doctor on the radio? Talking about something being tacky? God, how much he wanted to go sleep. But no. He knows he has to do it. He must do it. For all of their goals.
He snapped out of his thoughts once he felt a pair of strong hands pull him up. They were warm. So, so warm.
"I've finally found you," the voice-- Dabi? says, picking up his crutch and the very last hand remaining then handing the crutch to him and added, "Didn't travel far, though." Tomura took the crutch from who he would assume was Dabi. He then feels the other moving next to him --- the side of his broken leg --- lifting one hand over his shoulder and pulling Tomura close by the waist.
"What do you think you're doing." Tomura snapped his head towards Dabi, voice laced with anger. It was less of a question and more of a threat. Ohh okay hes angry angry. Good luck me, i guess. Dabi thought, his eyes narrowing at Tomura, deviod of all emotion.
"Dabi!" a cheerful voice rang out, "Where did you run off to?!"
"I had some business with Hawks." Dabi ignored Tomura's own glares and instead answered Toga. Which resulted in more dagger-like stares. "You need something? I gotta take care of boss-man, before he ends up snapping one of us, ya know."
despite his glares, Tomura wondered, how long has he been out of it? Even Dabi had enough time to meet with the number 2 hero then search for him.
Toga hums in response, and then says "Nah, not really! i was just curious where you ran off to, is all," she placed a finger on her chin in thought, "especially considering how Tomura looks like... So not cute! He needs plenty of rest!" she waved her hand, dismissively, before walking off "Anyhow, lets go, Jin! Since Dabi's got Tomura covered I wonder if the people here can get me lots and lots of blood!" she cheerfully jumped, Twice right behind her, "Hell yeah, lets go! Yeah, no thanks. I dont wanna reek of blood! Good luck Dabi! Tomura looks like shit!"
Dabi watched the encounter as he kept holding Tomura tight. "Well then, we're off." he nodded at the vague direction of where Compress and Spinner were standing--- no doubt looking at the pair--- before walking away with Tomura.
"You damned patchwork. i asked what the hell you were doing," Tomura's voice was low and scratchy, but not much less of a threat.
"Jeez, can't I help my beloved boss?" His voice even and emotionless, yet it held a teasing tone.
"i never asked you to help me. Now let me go." Tomura struggled with freeing himself from Dabi's grasp. Seems like this entire situation really has sucked all of his strength from him. Tomura, for once, accepted defeat and let his right-hand man lead him to wherever he was taking them.
~~~~~~
Dabi ignored him the entire time. Which ticked Tomura even more.
They arrived in an empty room, away from prying eyes and ears.
Or so they think.
The room was quite large, it had a set of pale blue couches; one large couch and 2 smaller ones adjacent to it, with fabrics draped over them lazily. There was a large rectangular carpet that extended beyond the couches, just at the end of it, far, far off stuck to the wall was a large TV with multiple old CD's and relatively new-looking speakers. On the walls were a couple of pictures here and there and decorations to fill the empty spaces, but god the walls were a bright white making Tomura's eyes hurt when he opened them, the fluorescent lights did not help its case, deciding that keeping his eyes closed was a better option. Closing his eyes, he leaning slightly on the other man who had just pissed him beyond recovery by ignoring him the entire way here.
The room went dark.
Dabi moved further in the room, closer to the big comfortable couch. In one swift move the crutch lays on the ground and Tomura thrown on the couch.
The white haired man winces, yelling "Hey, what the hell was that for?!" Dabi moves back to the door and locks it. He's still quiet. Ignoring Tomura.
Tomura thought that was weird, even moreso since he locked the door.
"For fucks sake don't ign-" Tomura was interrupted by Dabi's chilling voice. Ironic, considering his quirk was the literal opposite.
"Whatever you're planning next," Dabi turns around, fully facing his boss, "I don't think I'll like it."
A pause.
A longer pause.
An even longer pause.
Radio silence. Neither man willing to speak, nor really knowing what to say.
Until,
"You..." Tomura looks down, hesitating.
Since when does he hesitate?
Dabi inched closer, closing the distance between them. Right now, the taller man stood right infront of shorter man. The latter looked up at him only to see his pained expression.
Now this takes Tomura by surprise.
Crimson eyes widen. A layer of shock filling them.
Tomura sits back up, looking down. Unable to face his... lover? He's unsure --- he likes the way it sounds when describing his right-hand man, but... Tomura just isn't used to it. Though he likes it. --- He takes a deep breath, through his nose, out his mouth.
"You don't know what you're talking about." Tomura manages. His voice scratchy still, but it doesn't have that venom in it anymore. It never does when they're alone, together.
"Yeah... You're right, I don't..." Dabi whispers, Tomura barely caught it. Barely.
"Listen, Dabi, I'm sor-" Tomura was, once more, interrupted. This time by a hand pulling his head up and lips pressed against his.
This time, though, he wasn't ticked off. Instead, he leaned into the kiss.
Dabi pulled away, much sooner than Tomura would've liked. So much for being exhausted.
"I don't know what you want to do." Dabi stands up straight, sighing, "Fuck, I doubt you'd tell me even if I asked. Or anyone, for that matter." Tomura stayed silent, further proving Dabi's words. "But... Promise me it wouldn't kill you?"
Tomura stayed silent. This one was deafening. Especially for Dabi.
"Tomura." Dabi kneeled down a bit, holding the other's upper arms in his hands, slightly shaking him. Tomura could feel the heat coming from the other's hands. Dabi was really, really worried.
"Tomura, please..." Dabi's 'non-chalance' was fading. He was begging. Slowly, Dabi's head fell on Tomura's shoulder, resting in the crook of his neck, hands slightly loosening but still holding a firm grip on the younger one's upper arms.
Tomura took a shaky breath, before finally responding, "I don't know."
Dabi could hear Tomura's heartbeat increase, and Tomura could feel excess heat radiating from Dabi's body. Not just from his hands.
He was using his quirk.
And he was cearly upset.
"What do you mean..." Dabi's voice was low, "You don't know?" He slowly looked up to stare at Tomura, who had his face and gazed to the side. Refusing to look Dabi in the eyes.
"I said what I said." Tomura's shoulders were practically reaching up to his ears. Dabi knew he had a couple more minutes- no seconds before his boyfriend would shut down and snap.
Dabi slowly stood up, letting his arms fall to his side. Tomura looked up at him, waiting for the arguing to start.
It's a bit weird he was waiting for that, honestly. They haven't argued as much after... The night they (apparently) confessed to each other and made... This entire thing official.
Dabi, instead, clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth then rremoved his jacket and throwing it on the other smaller couch, directly opposite to where Tomura was sitting. Leaving Dabi in his regular white t-shirt (that became a bit too small on him).
Tomura looked back down, a sigh of relief escaping him. He was too exhausted for anything in all honesty.
That ended very soon. Barely lasted a second before Dabi pushed Tomura down on the couch and practically pounced on him.
"Hey, what the hell?!" Tomura yelled out in shock and tried to push Dabi (who was basically laying on top of him) off of him. But god, was he heavy.
Dabi stayed silent while Tomura was struggling to push him off.
They stayed that way for a couple of minutes before Tomura ultimately gave up and just let his lover crush him to death. What a way to go, woohoo.
He had to admit though, Dabi was warm. And heavy. He was basically a heated blanket, right? Tomura couldn't complain at all. He moved his arms towards Dabi's middle section wrapping them around it. He was nuzzling his face on Dabi's hair breathing in the smell of freshness mixed alongside the fireplace-like smell most fire users had. His was especially pleasing.
After a few moments like that, Dabi slowly lifts himself up, supporting his body with his forearms and knees on either side of Tomura. The younger looks up as he moves his arms to wrap them around Dabi's neck, pulling him closer.
Time around them seemed to stop for god knows how long as they stare into each other's eyes. Crimson eyes longing for ocean blue eyes.
Dabi slowly closes the distance between them, Tomura feels his heart races and blush creeps up on his cheeks. But he could always blame Dabi's heat, couldn't he?
Dabi stares at Tomura's chapped lips, he hasn't been using the chapstick i bought him, huh... Dabi thought, his eyes narrowing. Tomura gently tugs at Dabi inching him even closer. Both of their breaths are nearly synchronised, and everything else feels so distant but each others touches. So much so they still haven't noticed an interesting red-looking thing under the foot of the door.
"Dabi..." Tomura whispers, moving one hand to cup his lovers half-marred cheek, pinky raised so he doesn't disintegrate the other, and the other around hid neck. Dabi leans into the touch gently and full of trust, "Touya." he says softly. Tomura raises his eyebrow in confusion, "That's... That's my real name. The one I refused to tell you in the beginning, remember? I wanted you to know it, just in case," tilting his forearm so his hand is on Tomura's head, running his finger through his now white hair.
"Okay," Tomura said softly, "Would you like me to call you that?"
"Yes." his voice had no hesitation.
"Alright, Touya."
Dabi- no, Touya looks back at Tomura's eyes only to see the latter was already looking at him. Crimson eyes then look at half soft, half marred lips, waiting. Humming.
Touya notices this and obliges, as he always does. Softly, he presses his lips against Tomura's, he could feel how the younger one immediately melts into the kiss, arm tightening around Touya's neck, inching him even closer than he already was.
Touya breaks the kiss, which (he could see) disappointed his dearest boss.
"Tomura," Touya calls out, catching his boss's attention, "hmm?" Tomura hums, holding Touya tight as he, despite his exhaustion, moves closer this time, planting small, soft kisses on the olders face.
"I dont tell you this enough, but..." Touya pauses for a second, holding Tomura's head in his hand to stop him from planting kisses all over his face (though he's not to say he hates it, on the contrary he very much enjoys whenever Tomura does something like this, even if its just a trail of kisses) and to look at him.
"I love you, Tomura," Touya smiles. The first genuine smile he had on for god knows how long. Weeks? Months? Either way he's really, really happy, "Please, please, don't die." he begged softly as he bumped both of their noses together.
Tomura blinks at him, then smiles. "I know," he simply says, planting a small, soft kiss on Touya's lips, "I love you, too. I really, really do." His voice was soft, extremely, uncharacteristically soft. "And I won't. At least I'll try not to."
Touya lets out a small chuckle as he kisses Tomura, deeper this time. Both of their cheeks grow red, primarily because of Touya's quirk. They break their kiss, hearts racing and breaths slightly heavy.
The older man now lets go of the younger man's head and lets him lay flat on the couch.
"Touya," his voice still soft, but this time it's laced with a crap ton of sleepiness. "I'm... Very tired... How about" his voice is drifting, "We just..."
Oh, wow he's that tired, huh? Touya thought
"Sleep?" Touya continues on his stead, catching his drift. In the end he only got a soft hum from the younger man, who, by this point, has already drifted off to sleep arms loosely wrapped around Touya's neck.
Touya shifted himself very carefully so he doesn't wake up his boyfriend. gently resting his head on Tomura's chest, listening to his heart beat and feeling his chest rise and fall. Yes, he's alive. I'm being paranoid.
As he shifts one last time to put his head in the crook of Tomura's neck, he could feel Tomura moving his head in his direction, lips pressed against his hairline as Tomura got comfortable in his sleep, Touya wraped his own arms around Tomura's midsection.
Soon, Touya also drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile
"Touya, huh? That could be useful. but could that be one of the reasons why he didn't want me meeting their boss?" a winged man thought "Though that obviously can't be one of the reasons, right? No way, he's that immature." He hums in thought, until a voice calls out to him
"Hey, hey Hawks! we were looking for you!" Twice waved towards him with Toga behind him, who was clearly, and so obviously, glaring him down. "You wanna join us for sushi? We might even watch a movie later if we find Dabi and Shigaraki! It's not like we want them, they can go die!"
Hawks chuckles nonchalantly before responding, "Sure thing, Twice. I was thinking about grabbing sushi on my way home, anyway." He walks towards the pair smiling as they walk down the hall talking about what movie they should watch next (and where Shigaraki and Dabi ran off to).
"How interesting... Previously the leader of the League of Villains, now the leader of the Meta- no, Paranormal Liberation Army and his right-hand man..." Hawks thought, "I'm not entirely sure how important this is but, the other heroes would probably figure out something to do with it. Not to mention we, now, know Dabi's first name."
~~~~~~
"Holy shit, how much weight have you gained in a couple of months?" Tomura asked trying to get Touya off him. He had just woken up and he's still very much sleepy, but he wants to go back to sleep in clothes that are way more comfortable than the suit he's wearing.
Touya groaned, "Yeah, yeah. Just shut up and go back to sleep. You can't complain when you have a personal heated blanket y'know."
"Heated blankets don't crush me to death. Nor do they talk." Tomura glared, trying one last time to push him off but then sighed when he realised Touya is literally only clinging to him even tighter. Deciding that he still valued his life a bit more gave up his very unfruitful efforts of trying to get off and change.
He was still exhausted.
"You know," Touya starts, "You'd think that you should've gained a bit more muscle after all that time. Instead you're as skinny as a stick."
"I'll have you know I've gained muscles, you damned patch work." Tomura's voice was rough but it had no real bite. He relaxed himself once more, pulling Touya's body closer to his.
"Don't get too discouraged, boss," Touya plants a soft kiss on Tomura's neck before going back to rest his head in the crook of said neck, "You've gotten very strong, maybe not as strong as me but still strong nonetheless."
"Well, aren't you a charmer? Not very good but still a charmer nonetheless." the corner of Tomura's lips tugged into a smile, nuzzling his face closer to Touya's face.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm telling you off the hook since you've infected me with your tiredness, or whatever," the older man grumpled, pulling the other, which was basically pointless as they were practically glued together from top to bottom, but it still felt nice either way.
Tomura hums, "I missed you, too, Touya."
A couple of minutes later, they drifted back to sleep in each others embrace.
