   Summary

They left her to protect her.

   She died anyway.

Now Kaesi is a newborn vampire with too many questions, a body that doesn’t feel like hers, and a past that refuses to stay buried. The Cullens have returned with apologies and half-truths, but forgiveness isn’t that simple, and neither is trust.

Especially when the one person she never stopped loving is the one who walked away.

This is part of the Little Miss Sunshine collection. Small one-shots set in my Twilight AU, pulled straight from my maladaptive daydreams.
