Summary
I've had an appreciation for mythology since I was in college. In a way, the creation of myths was the world's first science. I had theorized that many myths came from the same source, parents of children coming up with stories to teach their kids how the world worked, but also to provide life lessons.
I continue to ramble. "Then there's mythology, which is the study of those myths but also the long version of the word myth. They're old faiths and beliefs. I do have to say this before I continue, myths are only slightly different from another human term, religion. Religions are beliefs and faiths that are still followed today."
Rocky gives me his words for all the new terms I just threw at him. "We have same on Erid. Old stories believed by ancestors to be real. Proven wrong with science, math." Rocky pulls some tools from his belt and grabs one of the many devices on his side. He begins to work on the device with two of his hands. "Have idea. We start culture lesson with mythology."
