Summary:

. In a world divided by light and dark, the kingdoms of Lighteria and Darbou have stood in quiet hostility for centuries. Each side was shaped by duty, expectation, and the roles placed upon them.

Prince Kanade Yoisaki of Lighteria bears the weight of a fragile kingdom on his shoulders, ruling in place of his ill father while striving to maintain peace. Across the border, Princess Mafuyu Asahina of Darbou lives a life dictated by perfection, her every action molded by her mother’s heavy expectations until she no longer knows who she truly is beneath the mask she wears.

When the two meet by chance in secret, Kanade is the first to notice the emptiness behind Mafuyu’s practiced smile. What begins as a quiet, fleeting encounter soon turns into something deeper. Something dangerous. As their hidden meetings continue, Kanade becomes determined to give Mafuyu a place where she can exist freely, even if only for a moment.
But when Kanade discovers Mafuyu’s true identity as the princess of Darbou, the fragile connection they’ve built is threatened by the very war their kingdoms were raised on.

TWO KINGDOMS

Lighteria (lie-TEA-ree-ah) and Darbou (DAR-boo) both represent “light” and “dark”.

 

The two kingdoms are polar opposites from each other, thus, resulting in tension and rivalry for centuries.

LIGHTERIA .

Prince Yoisaki (Kanade Yoisaki) is the prince of Lighteria.

With the Queen's passing years ago, and the King's sickly state, the kingdom is heavily reliant on Kanade.



Swordswoman Ichika Hoshino.

Responsible for protecting and staying loyal to the kingdom and Prince Yoisaki.

 

Pastry Chef Saki Tenma.

Responsible for making tasty pastry sweets for the kingdom to enjoy.

 

Floriculturist Honami Mochizuki.

Responsible for taking proper care of the flowers in the Lighteria garden.



Newbie Swordswoman Minori Hanasato.

Responsible for protecting and staying loyal to the kingdom and Prince Yoisaki.

 

Messenger Airi Momoi.

Responsible for providing information to the kingdom of Lighteria, if there's any conflict that needs preparing for.



Floriculturist An Shirashi.

Responsible for taking proper care of the flowers in the Lighteria garden.

 

Swordsman Akito Shinonome.

Responsible for protecting and staying loyal to the kingdom and Prince Yoisaki.



Forest Guardian Emu Otori.

Responsible for protecting the forest and driving out evil that might lie upon the forest.

 

Swordswoman Nene Kusanagi.

Responsible for protecting and staying loyal to the kingdom and Prince Yoisaki.

DARBOU .

Princess Asahina (Mafuyu Asahina) is the princess of Darbou.

Right underneath the Queen and King of Darbou. The Queen is heavily focused on having Mafuyu take on a healing skill in the future, alongside her role as the Princess. Though it isn't the exact skill Mafuyu truly wants, she doesn't want to disappoint.



Watchdog Shiho Hinomori.

Responsible for protecting the property of Darbou, and seeking out certain people.



Servant Haruka Kiritani.

Responsible for tidying the kingdom's organization.

 

Jewelry Organizer Shizuku Hinomori.

Responsible for organizing and keeping a close eye on the kingdom's precious and expensive treasure to make sure it won't get stolen.



Maid Kohane Azusawa.

Similar to the servant role — responsible for tidying the kingdom's organization, but also takes care of Watchdog Shiho.

 

Swordsman Toya Aoyagi.

Responsible for protecting and staying loyal to the kingdom and Princess Asahina.



Court Jester Tsukasa Tenma.

Responsible for performing and entertaining the kingdom of Darbou.

 

Sorcerer Rui Kamishiro.

Responsible for welding magical power to fend off enemies from the kingdom.



Puppeteer Ena Shinonome.

Similar to the court jester role — responsible for performing and entertaining the kingdom of Darbou.

 

Fashion Designer Mizuki Akiyama.

Responsible for creating clothing and accessories fitting for the kingdom of Darbou.
