It wasn't just the way she acted though. There was something about this girl that made the thought of her refuse to leave Kanade's head. All she could think of while staying up late at night was how nicely her purple wavy hair sat over her shoulder, how straight yet natural her posture was, the wording she chose, the gestures she chose, her pretty voice — she was beyond perfect, and not just for the role of an actor. Every part of her was as if carved and created by the hands of a deity, to the point it almost hurt how much better than Kanade she was.

“In here?” Aglaea asked softly as she pointed to it. Castorice nodded. She felt something in her chest swell, Castorice's presence— or perhaps it was the way she looked at Aglaea, emboldened her to crouch down and move through it.
“So the president does have a rebellious side,” Castorice mumbled as she followed behind.
“Whatever gave you the idea that I was a goodie two shoes?” Aglaea asked, unable to hold back the laughter escaping her.
“You’re the president, you do official business things and make things happen. I didn’t think you’d have the space to follow the rules and break them,” Castorice argued, guarded exterior melting away with each word spoken.
“I’ll have you know, many of the motions I’ve passed were done so due to my... manoeuvring, not my rules following.”
