Mako Murata
The eldest sister adopted by a monk to maintain the shrine he owns and give them a home(but he won't admit that cuz he's a stubborn old geezer).
She's:
- (Currently) 35 Years old, 13 when she was adopted as Masayoshi Murata(the monk)'s first shrine maiden.
- Even after 22 years has passed, even becoming a vessel of the many cursed spirits in the area they live in, she remains as a dutiful shrine maiden; maintaining the shrine and going around exorcising harmful spirits in countless villages.
- She appears as a calm and cruel maiden... on the outside, but she's tender and gentle for her sisters and feels empathetic to wronged spirits.
- She became the vessel of a cursed rabbit spirit when she was 16, enhancing her speed and dexterity along with a long life span. And bunny ears and a few tufts of fluff here and there from the transformation. Was it painful? Yeah.
- Her last name, Murata, was given by Masayoshi along with Kana before he passed.
- And... she likes prawn crackers and sweet carbonated drinks.
Kana Murata
Second eldest daughter of Masayoshi Murata and the younger sister of Mako with the same last name.
- (Currently) 31 Years old, 9 years old when she was first adopted as a shrine maiden.
- Same as Mako remaining as a shrine maiden even after several years passed, though she exorcises spirits with far more brute force than calculated moves like her older sister. With challenging curses to unfair battles and winning most of them thanks to Mako supporting her(cleaning up after her mess).
- She's not a vessel of a spirit but she did gain a fraction of its destructive power, an Ox spirit. Gaining immense strength, stamina and also long life. Downside is, she'll get more muscle fatigue twice more than an average human being from exerting too much power. She also gained horns and a tail, so... :)
- She generally likes soft, chewy foods and basking under the warm sun.
- She's the last shrine maiden adopted by Masayoshi before her and Mako adopted 2 more of their sisters to give them a home and family.
Aionia O
Younger sister of Mako and Kana and older sister of Senso. Adopted by the two older sisters after being found under a large fox spirit's tail as a child.
- (Currently) 24 Years old, 11 when she was adopted as a shrine maiden.
- She was really close with a fox spirit as an infant after her parents' unknown passing in the countryside. She called the fox Papa Hono since the spirit took care of her ever since she was a wee baby(aw).
- Before meeting her older sisters, she was wild, curious, and a troublemaker. Now she's a hard-headed, mischievous, and elegant fox lady.
- She works in an office job(totally not as a villain side kick for you know who... ahem, Static's Oc Mr. Shadow Man), masking her mischievous nature more with how proper and elegant she looks. Though she uses the job to hide her ways of secretly exorcising spirits within the big city, a few people her boss had to face as a "villain", and maybe for the money too.
- Of course, she's been both a vessel of the fox spirit and gaining most of its blessings throughout her life with it. (She keeps Hono's spirit in a little fox keychain attached to her weapon/hair stick which is kinda cute... I know I know I'm so smart teehee). The blessings include longevity, fox ears, and 6 tails(that she can hide pretty easily with a simple seal), enhanced speed used for stealth, flexibility, and strength(no stronger than Kana's).
- Her nicknames are mostly from her sisters and boss, like: Ai-chan, Ai-ya, Yona(from the Ionia part of Aionia), ratbag and cutie from her boss(Don't think I'll forget that Static).
- She also really likes warm and hearty meals, eating large amounts of food from how much power she exerts from training secretly, working, and exorcising, and also teasing her boss(since he's such an easy victim). She dislikes many things such as: loud and rowdy people, green bell peppers(specifically), her bad eyesight, and mornings(me too girl).
Senso
Youngest sister of Mako, Kana, and Aionia and adopted shrine maiden.
- (Currently) 19 Years old, 16 when she was first adopted by her sisters.
- She was forced to being a vessel of a crow spirit, though it pitied her and her its blessings instead, it didn't stop the cult that owned her from berating and beating her until her sisters saved her.
- The crow spirit gave her wings, some feathers along her limbs and neck, ability to turn feathers into a material of strength and support, flight(duh), heightened stamina, and eyesight.
- Despite being the last to be adopted, she has more experience in being a shrine maiden than Kana and Aionia since she was kept by a cult ever since her childhood, hiding said cult in a large shrine.
- Like Mako and Kana, she remains as a shrine maiden, though she aspires to be an English teacher for children when the time comes. She still helps exorcise spirits but through supporting her sisters with blessed feathers than keep them from harm and forgery of weapons.
- She's not a picky eater but she doesn't like red beans and any roasted nuts. She likes to relax and hide up in the trees near villages while keeping an eye out for spirits in the area. . . And she may or may not be interested in wifing up a certain baker girl in a village she saved from an ancient spirit. (Winners Love Winning)
