Chapter 1

Notes:

Something like this could have happened back in Harry's first life in elder years, although it's hard for me to say when she could have been so laid-back and relaxed.

Harry sighed wearily as she landed next to Fred. He automatically ran his hand through her hair, and then frowned slightly when he noticed that it was wet.

"Did you come to dry on me again?"

"Are you studying again?"

Fred grinned, fingering the strands, and, smiling slyly, remarked:

"If I delay this essay, Snape will let me in on the ingredients, and we won't be able to open our shop."

Harry closed her eyes, getting comfortable on the guy's lap, and mumbled lazily, as if what she said really made some sense.

"Considering that there was no Quidditch practice today, did you manage to get your dose of adventure somewhere else?"

Harry relaxed completely, immersed in the feeling of long, deft fingers, the crackle of burning logs in the fireplace, the warm smell of Fred. To tell the truth, she had already forgotten that he had asked her something, but the last corner of Harry's mind caught on to the question and forced herself to mutter faintly:

"I was absolutely dishonorably framed. First, I managed to discover a new nest of snakes in the Forbidden Forest. Then I had to run around in the same forest, trying to make connections. When I managed to do this, I tried to talk to another snake, but it lured me to the lake. The shore turned out to be too shaky, and the mermaids clearly did not appreciate the settler in my face. From the good news: Filch was never able to track down who had dragged about a kilogram of algae, scattering them along the corridor. Out of the bad? I spent an hour trying to get rid of the smell. I'm also damn tired," Harry yawned at these words, and then added, opening her eyes slightly. "You're going to have to use high magic to move me out of here."

Fred chuckled softly and with a caring expression that rarely appeared and which probably only Harry and George saw, he said, kissing her gently on the forehead.:

"Whoever decides to disturb your sleep will need something stronger than high magic to take me. Sleep well."

Harry purred contentedly, closing her eyes and falling asleep relaxed.
