Work Text:

*You guys know the drill*

Annabeth: Welcome back, everyone!

Hazel: This is our third episode!

Piper: Third time’s the charm! Seriously, though; 3 demigods on nearly every mission, The Big 3. We sure love the number 3.

Annabeth: Well, yes. So we have something special today!

Hazel: Today; every demigod on the show gets a chance to shine!

Piper: We have Mechanics 101 with Leo.

Hazel: A very exclusive interview with each of us!

Annabeth: Cooking with Percy.

Piper: And more!

Hazel: But first, we have Reyna, who will demonstrate one-to-one sword fighting with Frank!

*Camp Jupiter*

Reyna: Greetings. Today, me and Frank will demonstrate sword fighting.

Frank: Yes, now, without further ado…

*They pull out swords.”

Frank: Now, I usually use a bow and arrows but- AGH!

*Reyna charges*

Reyna: Never get your guard down.

*Frank and Reyna duel a bit more.*

Frank: Always watch your opponents moves. If you watch closely, you’ll be able to predict their attack and counter accordingly.

*Reyna disarms Frank as he goes on the offence.*

Reyna: Exactly like this.

*They put their swords back*

Frank: Well, back to HQ.

*Argo II*

Annabeth: Thank you for that demonstration. Now, we have Seaweed Brain.

*Random kitchen*

Percy: Thank you, Annabeth. Today, we’re making blue cookies! Get your flour, sugar, blue food dye, butter, chocolate chips and eggs! First, we preheat the oven. Now, get a bowl and mix your sugar and butter. Now the eggs, flour and food dye. Mix them and finally, add your chocolate chips. Now, make them into these little balls and put them in the oven. And-OH MY GOSH! IT’S BURNING!

*The fire systems activate*

Percy: Water! Water! Oh! Wait!

*He puts the fire out*

Percy: And this is not how you make my mum's cookies. Back to HQ.

*The Argo II*

Annabeth: Thank you, Percy for that…demonstration…

Piper: Now, we have Leo-

*Leo barges in*

Leo: Somebody say my name?

Piper: Leo! We didn’t expect you to-

Leo: I made this ship, Piper. And today, we are learning how to fix an overheated car engine.

*Next to some random car*

Leo: Now, this is very overheated. If it were up to me, I would  heat things up more. But now we need to cool this down. First, we need to find the root of the problem. Low coolant? Radiator/fan not working? Or the thermostat is stuck. Now, unless your life’s aspiration is to be a human kettle , DON’T open the radiator when it’s hot. Luckily, this one has cooled down. Let’s see Hmm…AHA! Bingo! The thermostat is stuck! Basically, it’s a little door in the engine, supposed to swing open and close to allow the coolant to flow. If it’s stuck closed then nothing can go in or out now, can it? Easy fix, we just have to replace it! BUFORD!

*Buford comes in. Leo opens a drawer.*

Leo: Thanks, bud. Now, we just replace it. Big deal! And…here we go! Good as new!

*Back at the Argo II*

Piper: Thank you, Leo!

Hazel: Friendly reminder that it’s always best to consult a professional mechanic.

Annabeth: Now, the moment you were waiting for-

Annabeth/Piper/Hazel: The interviews!

Hazel: How this will work is simple, we have questions directed at each of us and we will answer them.

*The others walk in*

Piper: Ok, Percy, this one is for you. “If you could go one month without any quests or monsters, what would you do first—and how long before chaos finds you anyway?”

Percy: HAH! Jokes on you! That is impossible! But…if I could I would spend every second of it with Annabeth and my family.

Annabeth: AWW! Seaweed Brain!

Hazel: Annabeth, this one is for you, “Has there ever been a moment where you knew you were right… but still let someone else take the lead just to see how badly it would go?”

Annabeth: Every time I let Percy take the lead.

Percy: Annabeth!

Annabeth: I’m kidding, Seaweed Brain!

Piper: Continuing on. Jason, “Which one of us do you think wouldn’t survive a Roman training session?”

Jason: I believe full heartedly that all of you would pass it!

*Percy eyes Jason suspiciously*

Percy: Yeah! Sure, buddy…

Hazel: Uhh…Moving on! Piper, “Who here is the worst at hiding what they’re really thinking?”

Piper: I think we’re all respectively open about our feelings…Except for Leo and Jason.

Jason/Leo: Excuse me?/What?

Piper: (winks at Hazel) You know…

Hazel: Oh…

Piper: Well, Leo, “If everyone’s weapons and powers were taken away, who'd win in a fight?”

Leo: Frank. I mean, look at him! He could lift me up as if I am a couple of grapes!

Frank: I don’t know whether that’s an insult or a complement…

Hazel: Speaking of Frank. Frank, “Who do you think everyone underestimates the most here?”

Frank: Will. I think he is very underestimated. Not that I think any of us are weak.

Piper: Great answer! Hazel, it’s your turn! “Which is better? The 1940s or the present?”

Hazel: I think they’re both great in their own ways. How about Reyna! “Which ridiculous rule would you enforce to keep the legion on its toes?”

Reyna: Anyone who fails to listen to my orders shall spend a day with Octavian!

Piper: Wow… That would be… awful.

Hazel: Alright. Nico, “Which funny habit did you notice during your time at the Argo?”

Nico: Leo mutters to himself in Spanish and doesn’t even notice it.

Leo: I don’t!

Nico: Just proves my point.

Piper: Ok…Last, but not least, Will, “As a healer—who here is the most likely to ignore good advice and get hurt anyway?”

Will: I’ll put it this way, I think every demigod just refuses to rest even if I tell them to because every demigod wishes to die heroically.

Annabeth: Well…I think our time is up! We’ll see you next time on…

Everyone: DEMIGOD TV!
