Summary
The first thing Loki was aware of the next morning was the dull beat of the shower running. He sits up in bed, rubbing at his eyes as Hugo walks out of the bathroom, confirming once again that Loki hadn't just dreamed up this whole scenario. Thankfully he's already dressed, wearing jeans and a maroon t-shirt. Hugo looks good. His jeans fit him perfectly, fabric stretching just right over his thick thighs, and moulding almost skin-tight around his ass. It's practically indecent, and, to his horror, Loki is almost aroused by the sight. And that's before he even notices the way Hugo's sleeve wraps around his bicep. Hugo looks hot, and Loki would like nothing more than to pull those jeans down his legs and get his lips around–
or; After the end of the group stage, France's U-20 team end up stuck in Tokyo, thanks to a delayed flight. Under the Japanese sun, Loki works through his feelings for a certain midfielder.

Loki and Hugo watched the rest of the sunset, eventually getting up from their seats as the sun dipped below the horizon – brilliant oranges fading into dim purples – and making their way into the restaurant for dinner.
They ate alone, spotting none of the other team members in the restaurant. It was quiet, as they were eating later than most of the families staying at the hotel would.
At one point, Loki came back from filling his plate to see that Hugo had left him a small bowl of something from the dessert section. The man himself was absent, filling up their drinks.
Curious, Loki bit into one of the chocolate-coated sweets, pleasantly surprised to see the inside was a sweet, sticky marshmallow. His favourite. He smiled to himself, eating the rest of the marshmallows and silently reminding himself to find éclairs for Hugo at some point during the week.
Loki laid awake in bed that night, listening to the monotonous drone of the fan and Hugo's quiet snores. He began to think that their week in Japan could actually be relaxing – if he could get a hold on his feelings for Hugo.
