Work Text:
Today’s show went great, but was really tiring. Ballora had already went into her room and went to sleep. Eclipse was relaxing in the studios break room he was thinking of going in his room, but Ruin walked in.
“Hey, Eclipse.”
“Hi Ruin.”
“Sooooo, are you tired from today’s show?” Ruin asked as he grabbed a chair and sat with Eclipse.
”A bit, yeah.” Ruin gave a slight smile.
”Yeah me too.” They sat there in silence for a moment. Ruin looked like he was thinking about something.
”Did you want to ask me a question?”
“Well, I wanted to ask if you would like to see my apartment?” Eclipse wasn’t excepting that to be the question.
”I mean you did say you’d show me your apartment so I guess yeah.” Ruin stood up fast with a big smile on his face.
“Do you mean right this-“
”I mean right this second.” Ruin cut off Eclipse before he could finish. Eclipse sighed and slowly stood up. Ruin gently grabbed Eclipse’s arm and dragged him out the studio. They started to walk down the street. No one was out tonight.
“How far’s your apartment?”
”It’s only two blocks away.” They continued walking when they stopped in front of an apartment complex. Ruin lead Eclipse inside. The lobby was empty even the reception desk was empty.
“This place is never empty?” Ruin was confused usually there was at least one person on the couches but there was no one. Ruin shook it off and guided Eclipse to the elevator. They got in and Ruin hit the third floor button. Eclipse looked down to realize Ruin was holding his arm the entire time. He kinda just stared at his arm and Ruin’s hand until they reached the third floor and Ruin dragged him out the elevator. They then stood in front of a door labeled ‘306’. Ruin let go of Eclipse’s arm and dug out his key. Ruin inserted the key into the lock. While Ruin was doing that he was getting a feel around the place. The floor was covered in a blue and red carpet with a yellow fringe. Eclipse noticed there was an abnormal amount of flower paintings in the hallway. Before he could comment on it he was dragged into Ruin’s apartment.
”Here it is. It’s a bit small but I make it work.” Ruin’s apartment consisted of a small place for cooking, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The decor was pretty minimalistic. Ruin sat down on his bed. Eclipse sat next to him.
”So, what do you think.”
“I think your paycheck allows you to add more decor.” Ruin gasped.
”It’s a style!” Ruin gently punched Eclipse in his arm which made Eclipse laugh a bit. Ruin was smiling but then he looked down at the ground and started to fidget with his hands.
”So Eclipse. I’ve been wanting to ask, what are we?” Eclipse’s laughter stopped from the question. I mean Eclipse assumed they were together but I guess he didn’t think about if Ruin felt that way.
”I mean, what do you think this is?” Ruin looked at Eclipse with a soft smile.
“I think we’re together.” Eclipse let a sigh of relief which caught Ruin’s attention.
”You think that too huh?” Ruin inched closer to Eclipse.
”I mean I do, I just wasn’t sure if you did.” Ruin laughed a bit which made Eclipse let out a chuckle. Ruin inched even closer to Eclipse to where he was almost on top of him.
“So, if we’re together. We could try doing more intimate things.” Eclipse’s rays slightly spinned from that comment but he tried to keep his sassy personality up.
”So is kissing not intimate?” Ruin laughed a bit before slowly untying Eclipse’s bow tie.
”I mean if you don’t want to be more intimate I’d understand, it could be too fast for our relationship.” Once Ruin untied Eclipse’s bow tie he slowly backed away from Eclipse, but Eclipse stopped him by wrapping his lower set of arms around him. Ruin started to smile more and wrapped his wings around Eclipse.
”I mean that’s not what I’m saying. I’m just saying kissing is still intimate.” Ruin inched close to Eclipse’s face while taking his mask off.
”But we could get more intimate.” Ruin fully took Eclipse’s mask off and leaned in. He threw Eclipse’s mask to the other side of them and wrapped his arms around his neck. Eclipse put his hand on the back of Ruin’s head. The two leaned down on the bed as they continued kissing. Ruin slightly slipped his tongue into Eclipse’s mouth without him noticing. Then their tongues touched. Eclipse immediately broke the kiss, leaned up, and put hand to his mouth. Ruin leaned up too.
”I’m sorry if I was going to fast for you Eclipse.”
”No no it’s not that. It’s just…” Eclipse didn’t want to say it but Ruin knew what he was trying to say.
”If you don’t want to do that we don’t have to.” Eclipse shook his head.
”It’s not that I don’t want to I just, never have done this before.” Ruin took Eclipse’s head in his hands and turned his face to look at him.
”Well, I can try and teach you.” Eclipse felt his systems slightly warm up after Ruin said that. He gently nodded and Ruin leaned back into Eclipse. They started off slow but gradually Ruin slipped his tongue back into Eclipse’s mouth. Eclipse just let him do his thing since he had no idea what to do. Ruin gently wrapped his tongue around Eclipse’s. The movement shocked Eclipse a bit but he gently melted into it. Eclipse slowly put his hand back behind Ruin’s head as they leaned back down on the bed. They continued kissing until Ruin gently tapped Eclipse. Eclipse backed out of the kiss.
”I need a breather.” Ruin was panting, he leaned his head back. Eclipse gently scooted down and laid his head on Ruin’s chest. Ruin was so out of breath he didn’t even notice.
“Okay I think I’m good now.” Ruin leaned his head back up just to see that Eclipse had fallen asleep. Ruin softly smiled and rested his hand on Eclipse’s head. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes. If you told him three years ago that he’d end up dating Eclipse. He would have called you crazy, but now it doesn’t seem so crazy. Ruin softly fell asleep.
