Chapter Text
Italy looked at the blank sheet of paper.
"How do I tell Germany..." the brunette thought.
He bit the end of his pen anxiously, thoughts swarming his mind.
"I have to calm down, he'll still be friends with me, even if it goes wrong!"
Italy exhaled, preparing to write the first sentence.
"Dear Germany, I have something I'd like to admit..."
"You might not feel the same, but I thought I'd tell you anyway, okay?"
He smiled.
"That should be a good start..."
Italy sat at his desk, spinning his chair around, thinking what to put next.
"I've got it! He's sure to understand me with this one, right?"
Italy put his pen back on the paper, his hand still shaking a little.
"I've known this for a long time, but it's really hard for me to admit it, to be honest with you. But...I love you."
The brunette weakly smiled.
"It's simple enough, it should do."
“Yours truly, Italy"
”I’ve gotta make sure he knows I’m not just being friendly…I’ve got it!”
Italy wrote an extra sentence at the bottom.
Italy seemed satisfied with his letter, though with some reluctance at first, he soon gained the confidence to send it to Germany with some self-reassurance.
"Now to send it to him..."
Italy grabbed a cream colored envelope, sticking the paper inside. He licked the seal and shut it firmly.
Then, he prepared it to be sent and wrote,
"From Italy, to Germany"
On the front.
Italy walked down to get the envelope sent at the post office.
"Ciao! Can you have this sent to Germany?"
Italy waved.
Soon enough, the letter was sent.
Now it was just time to wait.
Italy hoped it wouldn't take too long, as he wasn't the most patient guy.
