Summary
Lottie Matthews is one of the richest people in school. She is privileged, she has nice clothes, good grades, and everything that half of the school wanted. Still, she considered herself an outsider. She never had a close, vulnerable friendship she could count on whenever she wanted to. She didn't have popularity in school, only a reputation as the rich girl. She also didn't have a close relationship with her family. That was the most hearthbreaking part of it all for Lottie. She had so much internal struggles, and so much unresolved issues with herself. Still, she feels happy for the first time in a really long time after hanging out with the girl that definitely was not praised in school, the one and only Natalie Scatorccio. Could this be a start of a new friendship? Or was Lottie just gonna continue being Nat's teammate she barely spoke to? She didn't know, but she knew things were changing, and it was scaring her.
