Summary
Former thief, Circes finds herself cornered and beaten into submission by the ever stout NAHA. They offer her the choice of a lifetime- go to jail, or become Binary Star's newest sidekick, Moonlit Phantom.
"What the fuck," are the first words that leave her mouth.
The boss stares at her, tapping his pen against a piece of paper. "Listen," he starts off with, voice somehow still cool. He holds up the paper to her face, and she watches as it flies back and forth in the air. She grimaces. She looks back up at him, eyes narrowing. She's about to mutter something underneath her breath, before the hero restraining her smashes her face into the ground.
"Very clearly", he continues, ignoring what just happened, "you were never registered as someone with powers in the NAHA's files. And we can fix that. No more small time theft, either- striked from your permanent record. You just need to do something for us."
"And that is," she replies with, becoming more and more aware of the blood trickling down her chin.
"Become a hero."
"What the fuck," she says, for the second time, before passing out.
