Lloyd turns to walk away but before he does, Wazy makes a show of blowing him a kiss, delighting in the florid blush that colors Lloyd’s cheeks in response as he raises one hand to wave.
It’s not that he isn’t sincere, but Wazy never fully separates himself from the need to perform, the need to be “on” at all times.
Lloyd? He’s different. He never performs, never makes a show. He’s utterly genuine, uncalculating. There’s nothing about him that isn’t organic.
And that’s what has Wazy wondering, leaning in a bit more when he flirts, blowing that shameless kiss. How warm would that flushed cheek feel to his fingers if he touched it now?
