Summary
After failing to summon the Arch Mother, Paige lingers in New York, hoping to find another avenue that will lead her towards her lost brother. Her first opportunity comes from a most unlikely source, one of the six agents of the Hidden King, a man whose true desires are as unknowable as his origins, The Doorman. There's no question of his loyalty to his hotel, nor of his proficiency as a man of service, but when he withholds information from Paige about her brother, she must find out what he's really after and if it has anything to do with this special treatment he's been giving her.
