Nothing was ever "normal." Not in Gabes family, honestly, he barely knew what the word meant anymore. Of course, his mother tries to make things feel like everything is fine and normal, but Gabe always just played along, because if he didn't then He wasn't too sure if He'd make it. His sister only talks to him if she has to and his parents act like the entire world revolves around him because he could've died at a time in his life that he wasn't even old enough to remember anyway.
