Summary
Margaret had seen some things in her life. Things that others would flinch at or run from – and sometimes she wished she had done that at some point in her career. Two tours could do that to a person. Margie was past that part of her life and now her day to day consisted of the lights and sirens at Boston General’s Emergency Department.
However, in a freak accident that kills her brother’s wife, Margie finds herself voluntarily uprooting her life in a move to help her widowed brother with the kids. That move? To Pittsburgh. Margie transfers to PTMC as a night attending. It is here that Margie meets a man who appears to echo the men she knew in her darkest times – and he seems to be on the edge of collapse.
