Cold from a open door

Summary:

Quackity was always too curious for his own good.

Notes:

I dont know what I'm doing. Didn't watch qsmp1 and Im going of things I see on twitter but I felt the need to write something with Quackity and Ash.

I wrote it all while in class between explaining to my english teacher what is ao3 and fanfiction.

English is not my first language and I don't apologize for any mistakes but feel free to point them out in the comments.
No beta read, i dont have anyone to do all that.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Quackity was always curious what was behind the door at the end of the corridor.
All of the kids were.

They saw Cucurucho walking into the room many times, sometimes with another worker but most of the time alone. They always spend a long time there, a few times when they walked back out of the room thorough the corridor their hands were stained with blood or some other dark liquid, sometimes the federation worker they walked in with didn't walk out with them.

Quackity was always bothered not knowing what's behind the door, the other kids let go trying to find out after a few unsucceaful tries at getting inside, but he wasn't planning to give up. He was too curious to just give it up like that. Was another person there? Or maybe something else?Whatever or whoever it was he hand to find out.

When they all got let out of their rooms Quackity sneaked away from the rest of his friends. Walking through corridors trying to find the one he was looking for the white walls and bright lights made everything look the same. He spend a long time here but he couldn't help but feel lost, like he was walking in circles. He didn't see anything that would help him to identify where he was supposed to go, or even how go back. It was all the same white lights and blinding buzzing lamps, the only sound was the clicking of his talons against the floor. After maybe an hour of getting more and more lost he sat on the floor hugging his knees close to his chest.

He was lost, he was lost and he can't find the way back to his friends, he hadn't even seen any of the workers around. But maybe that's a good thing? Cucurucho certainly wouldn't be happy about him running around unsupervised. Will anyone find him here now? What if he will just be left here, alone... No that's stupid.
They wouldn't leave him like that, there are cameras around, they will see him and come get him. But they will be mad at him for running away from the rest.

He didn't like when they were mad, it always hurt when they were mad.

As Quackity was sitting on the floor here he noticed something, it was cold. Maybe not cold but colder, like a faint breeze? Why tho?
He was inside and as far as he knows there are no windows near. He got up to try and investigate where it came from and after maybe a minute of trying to find the source he found himself in the corridor. The one he was looking for! He found it finally.

As he walked through it to the door at the end he realized the cold was coming from inside of the room, the door was cracked open. He ran towards it faster, exited to finally see what's behind it. As he got closer he found himself getting nervous, he didn't know why though. He wanted to know what's behind the door for such a long time, why was he nervous now? He stood before the door for a short while before peeking inside.

Quackity expected a lot of different things, he and the other kids had theories on what can be there. But somehow he was still surprised by what he saw.

The room looked like one of their observation rooms, a desk and chair before a glass wall, but what surprised him was what he saw behind the glass.
Well at least Jaden has been right guessing that there's another person in the room.

Behind the glass panel in the corner of the room there was another kid, or at least Quackity guessed it was a kid. They were wearing a straitjacket their arms binded to their torso, their face was covered by ... glitches? Purple and black moving squares covered their face and some of the space around it, thought Quackity was half sure he could see a muzzle under it all covering their mouth. They seemed to have long black hair, or maybe it was brown? He couldn't see clearly, the other part of the room seemed darker.

When he entered the room and figure raised their head towards him while he stood frozen in place.

What was he supposed to do now? He did what he wanted to, he found out what was inside the room. But he couldn't just walk away now, right? Its not like he would know how to got back anyways.

Slowly he walked up closer to the glass wall and sat down infront of it.

"Hi um, can you hear me there?" Maybe it was stupid to ask, he shouldn't be here, what if someone finds him here? Maybe they were here because they were dangerous? He would guess so based on what they were wearing. It was stupid, he shouldn't do it.
Behind the wall the other child looked at him for a bit without moving before nodding their head.

Quackity thought what to say next, he was starting to feel scared. He didn't know why. They didn't do anything that would make it seem like they wanted to hurt him, why was he scared?

He opened his mouth to say something but no sound came out as he saw the figure behind the glass stand up and walk towards the glass wall. They were tall, definitely taller than him or the rest of the kids. They sat in front of him, the only thing separating the two was the glass panel.

Up close he could see how the straps binding their arms and torso seemed tight, maybe too tight to breathe in Quackity's opinion. They definitely had a muzzle or something like that on. And their hair was in fact both black and dark brown towards the ends. Other than the straitjacket they were wearing the same shorts as Quackity though they didn't have any shoes.

"Can you talk?" Maybe he was scared, but he was also nothing if not curious about the other child.
They shook their head no.

Both of them stared at each other for a short while before they abruptly looked up, at something behind Quackity. He turned around to see Cucurucho, they seemed mad.

. . .

He messed up.

Notes:

In this Ash is the same age as Quackity or something close to it but he age's faster than people because the feds need a weapon not a child

This could probably be better but its not that bad I hope.

If someone is kind enough to educate me about the lore with the other kids made or whatever taht was by the feds please do.

I'm planning on making it a short series, would love to hear ya'lls opinions and headcannons about these two

I apreciate all cudos and especially comments.
