   Summary

   Archangel Gabriel has always been a man of strength, of pride, of God's will. He has always been held in high regard by the kingdom of Heaven, idolized by many. He can do anything, so long as God is on his side.

   So what happens if God leaves his side, everyone's side?

   When God goes absent, everything plunges into chaos, and Gabriel sees everything he loves fall into the clutches of sin. Everything seems to turn on him, machines from earth find their way into his realm, and humanity dies out abruptly. Not only was he kept away from anything outside of heaven all his life, he was also experiencing humanity and hell at once. In a changing world where everything is thrown directly at him, Gabriel changes, throws defiance and passion back, and starts anew. A blank canvas.

   So he takes up his brush.

   And he decides to paint the world red.
