Lumine was in Sumeru again. She had been doing so many commissions, for the pay, to the point that she hardly had rest anymore. The restless Traveler continued climbing up the mountain terrain, her stamina wavering as she carried on, she didn't even stop to rest for a moment between commissions. Wanderer, who has started to become soft to only Lumine, noticed and kept on trying to make her stop taking so many commissions and take some time to spend with him, damn it! He even resorted to cuddling her tightly in the morning just so she’d stay in bed. But the sly lady just slipped away because she can (Girl boss tbh). Again, today, Lumine quietly slipped out of bed, using a pillow she had fluffed up last night to use as her body double. She then leaned down to give Wanderer a kiss but he caught her wrist in time. “And where are you going, hm?” Wanderer said that with a bit of a sleepy yet sultry tone. Lumine, who was caught off guard by it, was flustered that she got caught in the act that she averted her eyes from him. “Hm? So the darling traveler won’t look at her beloved once she got caught sneaking out for commissions huh?” Lumine, who got even more flustered as he said that, couldn’t help but continue to look away. “Aww, My little Lumi can’t even face me.” He gently gripped her chin to turn her face to him. “Lumi, did you really think I wouldn’t notice you sneaking out? Such a fool, but you are my darling after all…” He pulled her face closer and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Why won’t you stay in bed with me? I didn’t have the chance to be with you since you kept running off to do those stupid commissions.” He grumbled, clear that he misses his darling. He pulled her arm so that she’d land in his arms. Smirking, he decided to mock her (With good intentions). “Hm? My cutie didn’t even resist when I pulled her into my arms. How cute~” He added with a soft smile. He can’t be that cruel to his darling after seeing her blush at how close they were. He started to stroke her hair as she slowly leaned on his chest to relax. “I know I’ve been busy with commissions but I miss you too, Love…” Wanderer quietly curled her hair in his finger, humming as his beloved in his arms instead of running to do stupid commissions around Sumeru. He quietly kissed her hair and can’t help but think that her hair smelt so similar to Glaze Lilies. He then looked at the clock next to him, which said it was currently 07:45 in the morning. “My dear, do you have anything on, besides those stupid commissions?” “I don’t think so, Love… I probably need to buy supplies but that should be it…” Lumine mumbled, her sleepiness evident in her voice. “Shhh, Rest, my little light… Rest in my arms, ok? I’ll protect you…”
