Chapter Text
The suns rays trickled through the window panes. Iridescent in the small classroom. Many kids were reading up on the latest study material, while others sat ablut daydreaming.
"Hey Nakamura!" A voice as sweet as summers rain sung its melody as a boy approaches another.
Nakamura raises his head. Stil partially asleep despite the time of day. He's groggy, but the face before him is enough to send him into an alert wake.
"Hirose! What are you- did you need something?" He stumbles over his own words. Attempting to sound cool, or atleast somewhat normal to the guy he's been crushing on for a few months now.
His eyes avert Nakamuras gaze. His posture unsure as he sways. He looks pretty like this. The way the sun kisses his skin at just an angel to make him glow. It's something Nakamura engraved thoroughly into his memory. A treasured thought he'd pass down for generations.
"Did you maybe wanna hang out after school?" The way he says it Nakamura is sure he'd only been imagining things. Face going aflame as he stares half dazed at the boy infront of him.
"Yes!" Yes. He'd love to. He'd want nothing more. This was a dream come true, this had to be-
"Nakamura, sorry to interrupt you, but Tamura-Senpai wants you to meet with us in the drama club." Oomoris rude introjection is unneeded, but accepted.
Nakamura upon looking into clubs thoroughly decided he'd be joining the drama club. It wasnt too taxing, apart from the play director playing obvious favorites.
Nakamura was a simple guy so how he caught a club leaders undevoted attention was a mystery, even to himself. He stands trying not to audibly complain as he bows to Hirose.
"My apologies, I have to attend this. Perhaps we can hang out later?" Rejecting Hirose felt like a stab to the heart, but he knew when he was needed.
Plus, what if the future called and a more interesting club opened? How would he handle being thoroughly shut down for lack of club presence? A shiver runs down his spine and he shakes the feeling off. Rejecting Hirose hurt, but he knew what needed to be done.
"Oh, yeah... that's cool. Maybe tomorrow then! Bye Nakamura!" Nakamura watches Hirose dash off. A subtle beat of his heart reminding him of his life. He looks to Oomori. Hoping he's pleased with the inner turmoil he caused.
He says nothing. Just heads to the drama club. Nakamura follows, because he's obligated. Not because he wants to. If he wanted to it'd be a whole other story. Perhaps on a day Hirose hadn't invited him to hang out he'd even skip here!
... Yeah if pigs flew.
Whatever. This would just be a short meeting surely, then he can go about his day. He turns into the auditorium and stares. Quietly taking in the lone sight of Tamura. Oomori had disappeared and any other member of the club was gone. Leaving just the two of them.
"Nakamura, my dearest. I have a question."
