Summary
There is no such thing as privacy, not in thought, not in body, not even in silence. Every movement is measured, every hesitation noted, every failure remembered. You learn quickly. You learn how to obey, how to endure, how to become something easier to shape. And somewhere along the way, you forget what was yours to begin with.

Summary
On a battlefield littered with rubble and blood, Palestine faces the weight of his own pain and scars, both seen and unseen. When Israel arrives, her presence is precise, cold, and mocking, pushing him to the edge of control. Nothing is gentle. Nothing is safe.

Summary
The apartment came dressed in order, authority wrapped in polished wood and the scent of citrus and smoke. Egypt spoke of control, of dominance, of a life built in his image. Syria listened, and bristled, as he always did.

Summary
After Britain stole what you could never reclaim, you are left alone in the silence of your room, shaking, bruised in ways no one can see, and haunted by her presence. The door closes behind her, yet she lingers in the air, in your clothes, in your skin, as if she never left. Curled on the cold floor with breath that barely feels like your own, you tremble under the weight of shame and the phantom heat of her touch crawling beneath your clothes. Time drags cruelly, each second thick with nausea, confusion, and the horror of understanding what was taken from you.
Survival becomes something small: a shaking inhale, a tear slipping free before you can wipe it away, the stubborn refusal to let yourself break completely. Paranoia coils around your ribs, disgust burns through you, and you feel rotten, ruined, unworthy of the comfort you ache for. You think of Palestine, of warmth and safety, and shame twists deeper. In that cold, breathless stillness, you wonder if the boy you were can ever return, or if all that remains is this trembling survivor on the floor, haunted, hollow, and trying to endure a world that suddenly feels too dangerous to stand in again.

Summary
June 1927. After a failed attempt at independence, Syria lies broken on the battlefield, defeated and surrounded by the soldiers who once followed his orders. Captured by France, he is dragged into a cold, oppressive cell where every stone, every drip of water, reminds him of what he has lost. Bruised, bloodied, and stripped of dignity, he endures the slow, deliberate weight of suffering.
Time stretches with no mercy. Pain coils around his chest, anger pulses through his veins, and the echo of his failure whispers in every shadow. He counts breaths like a prayer, each one a fragile proof of life, yet heavier than the last. Survival becomes a quiet act of rebellion, a stubborn ember against the darkness that seeks to consume him. Somewhere beneath the rage, beneath the shame, he wonders if the man he once was can ever be whole again, or if all that remains is the slow, burning resolve to endure

我的父亲放任我在年幼时流浪,又让我在长大后背负上了他的血。今朝有酒,明日无醉。让我们痛饮吧,酒醒后就是谈正事的时间了。
