Work Text:

Leo keeps busy drumming his fingers nervously on the table. Blue eyes running around his surrounding, people-watching.
It’s not his normal scene…
An outdoorsy bar and restaurant, with wooden picnic benches and tables. String lights going from one post to another, lighting up the area in a nice warm yellow light.
The main attraction:
A full bar in the center of the restaurant.
Loud biker men standing at the bar, wearing leather vests, accompanied by women wearing all leather outfits…
that don’t seem comfortable.
…
Damn, though, they look good wearing it! A dark blush comes to the turtle's cheek, envisioning himself wearing scantily design leather.
Could he pull it off?
Would his date like it?
Ah, he’s thinking ahead! He promised his baby brother, friends, and a poster of Captian Ryan, that he wouldn’t jump ahead like that! He needs to focus on the here and now. To have fun and see how well he and his date get along.
Leo’s sure he looks good! Sporting his blue mask around his neck, tied behind into a bow, the tails trailing over his shoulders. A simple white shirt, and ironed blue jeans.
Cute, right?
Blue eyes shift towards the parking area; he has a good view of all the motorcycles and the only car in the lot- his car. He thought the bikers would hate seeing a clunky car, but they didn’t care.
They seemed to even ignore him. Didn’t he stand out? Were they that drunk?
Leo’s blue eyes lower to the phone in front of him. The screen is facing up, a message is open. His date’s message reading clear.
[Allmost there sorree 4 beeing l8]
Leo sighs through his nose, his date is late!
Is this a bad sign?
The blue-eyed turtle had arrived early. After all, as the saying went, early was on time, on time was late. It was always important to leave ahead of schedule, in case anything came up beyond one’s control.
Would his date have a good excuse?
Leo’s eyes flick up as a few mutants walk past him. Sketchy types, they no doubt broke the law more times than he could count on both hands.
It makes him nervous.
Humming lightly, Leo adjusts the way he’s sitting as his eyes scan the area again. Mutants, more mutants, and even more mutants. He’s sure he couldn’t find a single human.
He should be fine!
Blue eyes dart to his phone, unsure if he should message back. After all, his date is supposed to be driving and he doesn’t want to risk distracting him.
Pressing his beaked lips tightly together, Leo stares at his phone as his thoughts drift away. His mind wandering straight to how he met his date.
It was so out of character of him to download a dating app. He was so lonely and his baby brother said it would be the best way for him to find a date nowadays.
He hated how much technology removed the magic of meeting “the one” somewhere where you least expected it.
Then again, he didn’t expect he’d be on a date with anyone he met online. Maybe the magic wasn’t fully gone?
Leo didn’t have much hope. He’d swiped left for so many people that appeared. It was so vain, judging someone with a simple profile picture and a short description of their personality.
That wasn’t enough to fall for someone!
But oh… when his eyes landed on the dark green turtle. Helmet tucked under his arm, leaning on a beautiful red motorcycle, and smirking with an attractive confidence? Leo swooned instantly.
He stared at the image for so long before his thumb finally swiped right.
What was the harm?!
There was no way the other turtle would swipe right too!
Obviously he did, or else Leo wouldn’t be at this biker restaurant waiting for him.
Maybe the reason Leo never swiped right before was because he was attracted to other turtles? Not counting his baby brother, there wasn’t any other mutant turtle he’d seen before.
This hunk was the first mutant turtle; he seemed to be a different species too. He could tell from the photos and what he could make out of the other’s plastron. It wasn’t boxy, like his.
It seemed more like a human’s muscular chest.
A chest he’s dying to touch.
The other turtle is a year younger than him. If the height was correct on his profile, Leo is definitely shorter than him.
Leo shifts in his seat, recalling the other turtle messaging him first. Getting to know one another in said messages. A brief intro, talking about family, and other things. The nervous flirty messages he sent to other first. The flirty messages he got back.
The sudden worry that filled Leo.
Too many downloaded this app for sex. The other turtle seemed to be the type to use the app for sex. Why else was he on this app?
There was no way it was the same reason as his own.
To Leo’s surprise both of them were looking for a relationship and not a quick bang.
They’re on the same page and Leo is lucky to find someone like him.
Leo suddenly hears a loud rev, followed by the sound of tires crushing rocks into sand. He turns his head to see a rider pulling into the parking lot. A deep red motorcycle, the rider wearing a matching red helmet with a leather jacket, and form fitting dark blue jeans.
A blush graces Leo’s cheeks as his tail flicks behind him excitedly and nervously. His stomach feels like it’s filled with butterflies!
He recognizes the motorcycle from the photos; it’s his date's! He’s finally here!
Leo feels his heart begin to nervously flutter as well. He smiles shyly as he watches the turtle get off of the bike and walk towards him.
Oh, he found him so quick! Maybe Leo did stand out in this restaurant?
The closer he gets, the more aware Leo is of his date’s height. Leo nervously stands up, watching as the helmet is removed.
Blue eyes meet gold eyes in the distance.
Leo feels his knees grow weak. He’s much better looking in person.
“Wow,” Leo says under his breath, blue eyes wide as he watches the natural swagger the turtle has as he walks along the gravel.
That confidence is so damn attractive to Leo. The tall turtle smirks, waving to him as he approaches.
He definitely seems out of Leo’s league. How did a sci-fi loving nerd like him score a date with a turtle like that?!
“ ‘ey.” The tall turtle says as soon as he is standing in front of the smaller one. “Leonardo, right?” The darker turtle asks with a crooked grin.
“Wow… I-I mean—” Leo’s cheeks are burning, not meaning to say that out loud as he awkwardly holds out his hand for the bigger turtle. “Yes! Y-y-you can call me Leo.”
Did he seriously hold out his hand to shake with his date?! Was this too formal for a date?!
Leo feels his stomach begin to act up as the other turtle stares at his hand. That smirk the other had drops.
Damn, maybe he should’ve practiced this moment with Mikey before leaving for his date!
Only a second had gone by, the longest second ever, as Leo begins to break into a cold sweat.
What could he do to recover this moment?
Time suddenly started again as the taller turtle takes hold of his hand and raises it up. Leo’s blue eyes widening as he watches Raph turn his hand and kiss the top of it.

Oh, that was a very good way to save this moment. “Raphael…” Leo said breathless.
“Jus’ Raph, hot stuff,” Raph calmly says, that handsome smirk gracing his lips again.
“Hot stuff?” Leo parrots with a laugh, mussing with the bandana’s tails on his chest. “I should be calling you that,” Leo says with a shy laugh before suddenly biting his lip. Oh he is making a fool of himself...
Raph seems to enjoy it, laughing he lowers his head with a shrug. “Shit, I ain’t gonna argue if a beauty like you wanna call me that.”
It was no surprise how Raph spoke. Leo knows how the other sounded, thanks to a late night phone call.
Hearing it over the phone didn’t do it justice, it was much better in person. The smaller turtle wanting to swoon hearing the deep, growly, dark, and alluring voice.
“So ya found the place jus’ fine?” Raph asks, motioning to the bench seats. “Would pull the chair out but can’t ‘ere.”
“I did and that’s okay.” Leo says as he takes a seat. Fully expecting Raph to sit on the opposite side of him.
Unzipping the leather jacket first to reveal a skintight black shirt with a red bandana tied around his bicep. The taller turtle places the jacket in the free space where Leo was expecting the other to sit.
Where did Raph choose to sit? Right next to Leo.
As soon as the bigger turtle removes that jacket, Leo can smell the other’s scent. The handsome turtle smells of cedarwood and roses. Leo enjoying the pungent warm scent, so strong and so soothing.
The smaller turtle is leaning towards the taller turtle. This already feels so dreamy.
“ ‘m glad ya agree to come ‘ere. People tend to be too scared of this place.” Raph informs the smaller turtle, his heavy and muscular arm going around the smaller turtle’s shoulder. “Shame, really! This place makes awesome food n’ drinks!”
“I’ve heard a few things about this place. Nothing about the food,” Leo admits. He’d only heard things like a stabbing or cops raiding the restaurant. With all the problems, Leo never thought he’d ever be here. “I wouldn’t have come here if you didn’t suggest it.”
Raph chuckles lightly with a shrug, his large hand rubbing at Leo’s shoulder. “I had m’ reasons ‘sides the food. After we eat, we can go walkin’ over there…” He points, Leo can see a few buildings but then darkness in that direction. The blue-eyed turtle openly grows nervous.
“Chill! I swear it’s safe over there! The jetty is past that building you see. We can walk along it.” Raph reassures the other.
Leo looks to Raph with a raised brow. “There seems to be nothing but darkness over there.”
“Looks can be deceiving.” Raph says with a deep chuckle. “There’s light over there. It’s just faint compared to the lights of the restaurant.”
“Oh, why is it so faint?”
“Accordin’ to m’ brother, some mess about baby feral sea turtles.”
“We’re that close to the beach?”
“Yup!”
Okay, maybe the area isn’t so bad for a date.
“ ‘N m’ brother just rigs this wack ass alarm to wake me!” Raph says with a chuckle, he shakes his head. “Since then, I never been late to ‘nythin’ ever again.”
They had both finished their dinner, Leo lost track how when they did. He was too caught up listening to Raph. It was so endearing listening to Raph speak about his baby brother, Donatello. Or Donny, with a -y not an -ie.
“So why were you late for the date?” Leo asks, elbow on the table, cheek resting in his palm. Not once did Leo break eye contact with Raph's. Feeling like he could get lost in Raph’s eyes.
Raph’s emotions are so easy to read from his beautiful eyes!
“I knew you were gonna ask me that,” the biker says with a smirk. Raph reaches over to the pile of napkins Leo had managed to collect for them.
Leo was used to being the one always collecting the napkins. His baby brother, Mikey, is such a messy eater.
Raph wasn’t messy but he did use one, or two, of the napkins Leo had collected.
Leo’s tail takes an excited wag behind him. His heart is skipping beats as he realizes, not once did Raph break eye contact.
Even while he was cleaning his mouth.
It was just them in their own little world.
Leo doesn’t budge as Raph adjusts himself to somehow be even closer. The smaller turtle has to crane his head up as he has a nervous flutter in his chest.
They’re so close, the intimacy increasing with the taller turtle inching closer to him.
A bolt of excitement rushes through Leo as he watches the way those gold eyes drop to his lips before darting back up to look into his eyes again.
Raph wanted to kiss him, and knowing this makes Leo smile and subconsciously lick his lips. His smile seemingly igniting something in Raph as Leo is aware he could hear, and feel, something tapping on the bench they were sitting on.
Raph’s long tail is wagging, mirroring Leo’s smaller tail.
Throats tickle as they both want to churr to one another. Neither giving in, it’s scary being the first to churr!
“Well…” Raph said, a hand sliding along the table to hold onto Leo’s forearm that was holding his head up. Leo feels Raph’s calloused thumb rubbing his arm. “I wouldda been on time but m' lil’ brother did some upgrades to m’ baby. We lost track of time checkin’ over the upgrades…”
Lost in the moment, Leo nearly forgot his question. He lets out a breathy laugh.
Okay, he could accept that excuse.
“Yer lil’ brother ever made ya late?” Raph asks curiously, the tapping was still going on behind the taller turtle.
“A few times,” Leo admits to the taller one. “He knows I loath being tardy, or on time.”
“Oh, did I make ya wait for a long time?” Raph asks with a slight tilt of the head.
“Mmm, you were worth the wait, hot stuff,” Leo boldly says, cheeks heating up.

Both turtles fall silent as they look to one another. Blue eyes lower to the other’s beaked lips before slowly looking back up.
Raph takes it as a green light, Leo feels the other's hand move from his arm to his chin. The biker gently raises Leo's head away from his palm. Holding his head in place as Raph closes the distance and their lips touched.

A soft moan escapes from Leo as he feels beak lips meet his own. Raising a hand to rest against Raph’s chest. The first touch to that muscular chest. It definitely feels different than his own plastron.
The way their lips slotted and moves against one another, feels perfect.
The kiss lasts a few seconds but it feels like hours to the turtles.
Raph breaks the kiss and Leo chases after his lips, gaining two pecks.
Licking at his lips, Leo shyly looks to Raph. He never was the sort to kiss on the first date but damn! He’s really liking Raph.
The energies they have seem complimentary to one another. Raph has this rough parental energy that's complimentary to Leo’s gentle energy.
Tilting his head as Raph stands up. The taller turtle holds out his hand for the smaller turtle.
Leo doesn’t hesitate or put much thought into why Raph does this. He takes, impressed with Raph’s strength as he is easily pulled onto his feet. “Come on, time to walk the jetty.”
Raph holds out his arm for Leo to hold onto and Leo happily accepts it.
They’re about to walk when a loud shout grabs both their attention. Leo tenses up for a moment, but forces himself to relax. Raph, the hunky muscle bound turtle, didn’t tense up, why should he? Raph is looking in the direction of the shout, so Leo follows suit.
Another mutant greeting another, one small ferret and the other a cat. Both females who immediately go in for a kiss.
Watching them kiss, Leo has to assume they are in a gay bar. He completely forgot, on top of being a mutant, he needs to be careful with being so openly… gay. He was so lost with Raph that he threw all caution to the wind!
Then again, Leo had nothing to worry about, here.
Leo squeezes Raph’s arm, his date really did pick a great location. “I had no idea this is a gay bar.”
“Nah, it ain’t.” Raph says, proceeding to walk again, heading straight to the walk way. The biker knew exactly where to go.
“What? Really? I thought—”
“What? Just because two same sex couple kiss at a bar, you think it’s gay? It’s a normal biker bar, Leo. Ain’t no one gonna care if you straight or gay so long as you stay in your lane.” Raph explains as they both become engulfed in darkness.
Leo blinks, nice long blinks to help his blue eyes adjust to the darkness they are walking into. “Huh, I see. You'd think big biker men wouldn’t like gay folks near them.”
“Bikers dun care. Many of us is very rebellious, fight the government bullshit. N’ many of these guys got women whom are bi or kids whom are gay. I’ve seen them driving in gay pride parades being supportive.” Raph says with a casual shrug. “Bikers tend to be into being, well, wild with chaotic order!”
“Wow, I never thought biker men were like that.” Leo says, ahead of them he sees nothing. Just the dark. “So you’re like that too?”
Raph is boldly walking, could he already see? Did he have that much faith in the area? “Yuh, I love the biker life. Love brawlin’ n’ living my life how I want it.”
“Huh, I-I-I, uh… I see.” Worry begins to fill Leo’s head as they walk deeper into the darkness.
All Leo can think was the many times he told Mikey to never go somewhere with someone new. A stranger may seem friendly but you can never fully trust them!
Raph is still a stranger to him!
Leo let his date’s good looks completely blind him. He should release his arm and run back to the bar! There was no way this was—
~~WOOSHHHHHH~~
A hissing sound following after.
The sound of water running up a sandy shore and then withdrawing into the abyss.
They’re by the beach!
Leo relaxes and looks up to Raph’s face. It’s shrouded in darkness, a little scary to look up and barely see him. The faint lights Raph spoke about earlier manage to catch the gold of Raph’s eyes.
The smaller turtle instinctively knows where to look but catching that glint further solidified that they were looking deep into each other eyes.
Again.
“Ya okay? Is this too much?” Raph sounds so concerned, he must have felt how tense Leo grew for a moment.
The smaller turtle lets out a soft, nervous, laugh. “I’m fine! It’s fine.” He tears his gaze away to look ahead. “I’m sure you can relate, telling your little brother not to do something like this, for their safety…”
There is silence as Raph mulls it over in his head. Thinking of Donny going on a first date and following them into a dark area.
“Oh, yeah… If Don, m’ brother, did this on his first date. He’d never hear the end of it from me.” Raph says, Leo could hear it in his voice. Raph was so caught up in it all that he also made the same mistake.
While this never happened before for Leo; for Raph, it’s happened more times than he could count.
Well, Raph could make all the mistakes he could! Not Don.
“Well, we’re not as careless as our baby brothers.” Leo tried to excuse their own mistake.
“Yeah, we ain’t! Bein’ older we just know how to navigate shit like this.”
“Of course.” Leo says, before he laughs lightheartedly with the biker.
As they keep walking, Leo notices the small light pillar they walk past. A quick glance back, he notices more behind them. It barely illuminates the area, even the very spot it stands. Unfocusing his eyes in the dark as he looks ahead, Leo can see more light dotting both sides of the boardwalk they’re on.
Surprisingly, he sees other people walking the boardwalk. They walk past a group of capybara mutants sitting on a bench and a water cooler. One is drumming away on a guitar as his family sings a beautiful song.
Leo can’t understand it, but it’s Spanish from what he can pick up.
Oh, but did it really set the mood.
Raph had walked them to an empty bench, both sitting and instantly snuggling up to one another.
Leo easily slots himself against Raph’s side as the Biker takes to wrapping his arm around Leo.
It was cooler here than in the restaurant. Not that either mind, since they were keeping each other warm.
The boardwalk is beautiful, this being the jetty, they sit where the river and ocean met, although they couldn’t see.
Perhaps they could return when the moon was out and could light the area up.
A comfortable silence comes over them, which is strange for Leo. He never thought silence could be this comfortable. Being with Mikey, there was always noise or chatter. He was too used to somebody always talking. Yet now he sat with his date in silence, the singing in the background was distant, teetering on eerie and beautiful.
Who knew silence could be so lovely?
Leo smiles to himself, resting his cheek against the other’s chest.
He looks ahead, seeing nothing, but he can hear the sound of water around them. It is really relaxing.
Leo’s eyes rise towards the sky, eyes growing wide as he takes it in. Stars, so many beautiful stars! He wishes he could spent eternity right here, counting the stars.
This is an amazing place to have a date! A hidden treasure that was not far from where he lives. Truly one of the best dates Leo has ever been on.
A thought comes to his mind, how did Raph know of this place? Such a lovely spot like this? Leo felt Raph must of taken others here. “Have you taken many dates here?”
Raph looks to Leo, a single brow moving up. “Never been here on a date before. Yur the first.”
“Oh,” Leo says, surprisingly shocked he was wrong, again. He really needs to stop assuming the worst. “then how do you know about this place?”
“M’ brother, Don. He’s a bit of a egghead, loves learnin’… As kids we used to take the bus here together so he could stargaze. N’ before ya ask ‘bout past dates, I just took ‘em to the movie or the fair. Gettin’ to know you, I didn’t wanna do the same ol’ boring date n’… I uh…” Leo can see Raph grow nervous. For the first time during their date, Raph is nervous.
“What is it?” Leo gently moves his hand to Raph’s chest to encourage the other to say what’s on his mind.
“Well… you got the bluest eyes I ever seen. I thought they were fake! Never seen blue eyes on a turtle before. Then we did that video call n’ I saw they weren’t fake.” Raph slowly turns his body on the bench, facing Leo. “Gonna sound corny but after seein’ your eyes, I remembered this place. Been obsessed with wanting to see…” Raph falls silent as he stares into Leo’s eyes.
The smaller turtle grows bashful, a shy smile gracing his lips. “What?”
“I can see the stars ‘n your eyes.” Raph says breathlessly. It was like watching sapphires shimmering before his eyes.
Leo’s so thankful it was dark, his cheeks were so red. Raph probably could see but he was so enamored with his eyes. Leo feels himself grow impossibly shy as Raph smirks lightly.
“Fuckin’ beautiful.”
Leo can’t help the laugh that comes out of him. Cupping the other’a cheek, Leo gently runs his thumb over Raph’s cheek.
Both becoming so lost as they stare into one another’s eyes.
Another kiss is shared between them. Lips pushing against one another before gently massaging and sliding against one another. A heat beginning to spread through their bodies as they kiss.
Leo gently breaks the kiss, pressing his nose to Raph’s chin. Slowly, Raph lowers his head, pressing their foreheads together. Leo has to let their bodies cool off.
The smaller turtle can’t help but to think how romantic this date turned out to be.
Nothing could beat this date.

Before they knew it, their date was over. They walk back to the parking of the restaurant they were at earlier.
Raph is standing close to Leo who took to leaning against the side of his car. Raph plants his hand on the car to lean down, Leo raises his head to meet his soft lips to Raph’s.
A quick, sweet kiss. Leo is finding himself grow more addicted to these small kisses. Leo breaks the kiss again, licking his lips as he looks up to the biker.
Leo decides then and there that he can’t wait to have another date with the turtle before him.
“Was a real good date.” Leo says to Raph as he places his hands on Raph’s abs.
It feels so hard under his hands, so muscular. Raph worked hard for his body and Leo can feel the evidence under his hands.
“Sure was.” Raph says as he leans his weight carefully into Leo’s hands. “So, is there gonna be ‘nother?” Raph’s tone reveals he is confident there will be another date.
Leo lets out a soft laugh, feeling Raph’s weight pushed into his hands as the biker begins playing with the ends of his blue bandana. Raph is twirling the fabric between his thick fingers.
Unknowingly showing Leo those skillful fingers.
Leo is tempted to open the door of his car and pull Raph into the back seat. Get carried away, heated, and lost…
*~*~*~*
Stupid sexy turtle clouding his mind, making him want to throw all caution into the wind. It should scare Leo how easily Raph could make him do it.
“Of course.”
Raph grins at Leo, they press their lips together. The kiss lingering, neither want to separate from one another.
A good sign in Leo’s mind.
Leo breaks the kiss, yet again, to let out a dreamy sigh. “Good night, Raph.” He manages to say as Raph steals two pecks to the lips.
“Mmm night, Leo.” Raph responds, this time Leo chasing after his lips to steal a kiss as well.
Raph pulls away from Leo, looking down at the smaller turtle first as he bites his bottom lip. Oh, Raph is trying so hard to behave. Leo can tell from the biker’s eyes.
The taller turtle suddenly reaches over to grab the door handle, opening it for Leo. A gesture that wasn’t needed but very welcomed.
Leo brushes his fingers teasingly along Raph’s muscular stomach as he walks the few steps and sits in the car.
The biker waits for Leo to sit before shutting the door. He doesn’t move, Leo knows why… Raph is waiting for him to roll the window down.
Which he does and Raph quickly pushes his upper half through to push his lips to Leo’s. The smaller turtle is expecting more words to be exchanged between them. Being practically pinned in the car, by lips.
Eyes slowly flutter shut, catching how massive Raph looks in his car with just his upper half?
Oh, it’s awakening so much in him.
Leo had been the one in control of majority the kisses. Always breaking them before it evolved into more.
Not this time; this time, Raph is the one in control of the kiss. There is no way for Leo to move his head away, the head rest of his seat preventing it.
Not like Leo wants to end this scorching kiss.
Leo absolutely loves seeing Raph isn’t scared to take that control.
The smaller one wraps his arms around bigger one, just under his arms. Making sure the other stayed there as he pushes his tongue into the taller one's mouth.
Both turtles let out a moan as their tongues duel. Rolling, tasting one another’s tongues. Leo lets out a sharp gasp as the other’s tongue pushes into his mouth. The smaller turtle moves slowly over his teeth, getting to know his mouth. Leo closes his lips around the tongue and sucks lightly.
The action causes Raph to pull his tongue back. A shaky sigh escaped from the invading turtle, he’s aroused.
Leo can feel Raph grinning against his lips. The Biker knows exactly what he was doing, leaving the turtle the gift of arousal.
“Night.” Raph repeats with a deep rumble against his lips. It seems to send a flare of arousal from his lips straight to Leo’s throbbing tail.
Leo shifts in his seat to relieve some of the pressure in his tail. Raph notices and can probably smell it from the smaller turtle.
The car seat behind him is definitely calling for them both.
“N-night.” Leo repeats, a soft smile on his lips before he watches Raph nail his head on his car while trying to pull out. “Are you okay?!”
Raph curses under his breath as he holds his head, teeth grinding as he angrily kicks a rock. “Yeah, I got me a thick ass head.” He can tell Raph is holding back an angry outburst.
Leo huffs, reaching into his glove compartment and fishing out a cold pack. He squeezes it, waiting for to chill in his hands before holding it out to Raph. “Here.” Leo had long ago stuffed all kinds of things in there, for moments like these. Mostly for his brother, Mikey.
Never know when someone would need a band-aid or ibuprofen. Leo was always prepared!
Raph blinks, taking hold of the pack and holding it to his head. “Thanks, I’m good, I swear! I ain’t bleedin’.” Pulling the pack away from his head to check it.
Yup! No blood! Raph even tilts it to show to Leo.
Leo is relieved to see that it’s clean. “Anyways, text me when you get home?” The date was going smoothly, this little hiccup was just fine.
“Can I call?” Raph asks with a grin.

Leo blushes heavily and immediately answers. “If it’s a video call.”
“Hell yeah!”
“I’ll be waiting…”
Raph grins at Leo, stepping back to give the car space. Leo pulls out of the parking, driving away slowly, giving Raph a wave.
Leo feels so giddy as he drives away.
He really can’t wait to have another date with Raph.
