Summary
Both Skateboard and Boombox stood at that very precipice. Within their chests, the yearnings of youth surged more fiercely than ever. Yet, strangely, it wasn't power or the adoration of the masses they craved. The only thing they feared was not the deity’s grueling trials, but the fear of diverging paths, the dread that destiny might sever two names that had always been written side-by-side.
In the center of the wind-swept plaza, where thousands of white silk ribbons fluttered like seagulls welcoming an angel, Skateboard came to an abrupt halt. His usually frantic pace turned steady and grounded. He turned to face his partner, his soulmate, and perhaps, his entire world.
