Summary
After the War on Phoenix Mountain, Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo realize they love each other more than anything in the world and that due to the greed, selfishness, or cruelty of almost everyone around them, in order for their souls and selves to survive they have been forced to deny this love and bitterly hurt each other in the process.
Through sheer force of will they find a path of healing and create for themselves a world in which they can become the people they want to be and explore their deep love for each other without interference, and this they defend jealously when they need.
