   Summary

   Ishval burned. Edward Elric survived.

   Hidden beneath dyed hair, false gold eyes, and an Amestrian name, the last son of the Surya tribe grows up carrying the weight of a country that no longer exists. After losing his mother during the Ishvalan War and failing the human transmutation that costs him his arm, his leg, and his brother’s body, Edward enters the State Military for one reason only: to get Alphonse back and leave.
