Summary
A young girl is delivered to Severus by the Dark Lord the night before he disappears. not knowing who she is or how she is connected to the Dark Lord Dumbledore orders Severus to continue to raise her.
Living with Rubeaus Hagrid during the school year, the odd little girl amuses herself taking excursions into the Dark forest, finding herself meeting wonderful and terrifying creatures alike. During the Holidays she is forced to contend with a caregiver who doesn't seem to know HOW to care, and a man grieving for the loss of the women he loved, but perhaps even Severus can learn to care.
This fic spans from beginning to post Deathly hollows with leaps between the series.
